She is a nasty, evil being. I've never seen or heard someone so unprofessional, unethical and a complete coward. She needs to get a clue about what it means to be a professional woman and mother. What a fake hypocrite! She does all kinds of "charity" work, but ask someone what she is really like and what her motives are. Not to mention she looks like she just got off work on the sleeziest corner with her 5 inch heels, saggy face and fried hair. Beware...Don't trust her with anything!!! Especially anything that would affect your family!

Joi McClendon is an exceptional attorney. She had compassion for me, while she vigorously advocated for me. She is fearless in the courtroom which helped to get the best results possible on my cases. She also maintained composure, integrity, vast knowledge and endurance. Hopefully I never need an attorney again but if I do, I would trust Joi mcClendon with my life and with any other cases too!

Outstanding attorney. She was extremely dedicated to my case and was very knowledgeable as a trial attorney. If you have serious criminal charges pending she is your attorney.She gave me my life back.

Contacted her office only to have secretary tell me that Joi will call be back later in the day, No she did not. She would not even call me back. Called 2-3 times more, told the same thing, wait she will call you back. Wrong. Told she will return my call. Finally, I called back and secretary said that Joi probably could not handle my case or was not interested in my case. She is totally a unprofessional attorney.!!

Not worth it! Still in case and this lady hasn't got one thing completed. She has actually made things worse. Last court she was in trial and sent some guy that had no idea what he was doing either. She's to expensive to drag her feet and not get the job done.

Sometimes when people aren't knowledgable of the Law they don't realize the limitations their attorney may have, as is what I suspect is the issue with the negative ratings given to Ms. McClendon. I have extensive knowledge of the Law and having used Joi for many issues from Criminal, Family Law, Civil Rights, Trusts, Wills, Power of Attorney and Guardianship I have nothing but complete confidence in her ablility to accurately interpret the Law and inform me of what my options are. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

She worked harder for my ex-husband than she did for me. She was very expensive. For her fee(s), she basically just forwarded emails from others. Her delays in response caused me to be in contempt of court. She cost me alot of money because she did not have the desire or the passion to work for me. She was very slow to respond. She did not listen to my needs/wants/options. She has not provided me with a receipt of her hours, as promised. When I paid over the phone with a credit card, she charged me a $100 fee on top of the $2500 retainer she charged (twice). If I could go back and do it over, I would not hire her. My final decree was filed two months ago, and I haven't heard from her, except for her mailing me the final paperwork 2 weeks late. I am very disappointed. I agree with the previous comment: DO NOT USE HER FOR DIVORCE.
