I found David Harris-Lowe’s prime interest is money, intentionally strategically using every possible invoice raising tactic, techniques honed to a science. I felt he spun in circles accomplishing little except billing. Accomplishing ‘anything’ was next to impossible, errors, lost paperwork…Seemed he’d intentionally drag out unnecessary, long repeated explanations thus billable hours. Impossible to shut him down. During meetings he’d tinker at length with his computer to bring up unneeded data we were fully familiar with. If I complained he’d quickly anger, blame me. His diatribes costing me.I felt strongly he WOULD NOT HAVE TREATED MEN THIS WAY. Both unnecessary & error ridden correspondence. I often made costly corrections. After months I was twice addressed by the wrong name in correspondence by his admin, as was my opponent/husband’s lawyers name & law firm. Did my correspondence go elsewhere? On leaving I was bullied, hastily signed that he dropped me, not so! Irrelevant. Run!

David helped me through a very difficult process. He and his staff were always kind an helpful, even though I'm sure that I was sometimes difficult to deal with!

Excellent lawyer, now with a new law firm. His supporting staff are very helpful and supportive, always taking time to listen when I need to talk. David is knowledgeable, and caring, and really helped me through a difficult time.

My experience with David and his Assistant were horrible to say the least.For the LARGE amount of money I gave this law firm I did not receive half the service I paid for. They indicate that people slam them. Well this site is for comments of the TRUTH not anything else. They charge money for the hourly wage while David works for other people and answers the phone when you are sitting paying 275 an hour for him talking to someone else. The assistant is always with dirty hair and sarcastic. You can pay her wages but she can never answer any questions. If you ask them to varify a bill WOW they get rude. I thought I paid for services but we finished our court case ourselves cause David wanted money or he wouldnt complete. Then they sent us responses 4 months after we completed. They are a joke and very unethical.Take them in to the law society PLEASE the more reports the better. They even quoted incorrect information.They are a joke and do not finish jobs but sure can charge you and lie

From day one I found Dave's assistant very helpful, caring and understanding. If it wasn't for her patience and caring nature i would of been lost. Best assistant ever. Thanks again for all your help, patience and support :)

Run from this law firm. Cost me 5 times the original retainer and accomplished nothing for me. His assistant is incompetent, insulting, and has zero people skills and should not be working at any law office, especially one that deals with family law and people who are dealing with the extreme hardships of divorce. There was very little communication from David and I felt I was dealing with his assistant 90% of the time. It got to the point that I was afraid to call the office.

He is committed to my case. He stutters in court, which bugs me;it makes him seem less sure of his stuff. I hope it's not a tactic to indicate that to other counsel and the judge. He has a sense of humour, which is nice. I believe he advises me to the best of his ability, which I feel is high. He is open and willing to learn, which I find so rare in this profession. He is not on an ego trip. His assistant is great, too. I don't think I'll ever forget when the papers came from his lawyer asking to reconcile. My ex was extremely abusive to me and the children, and it was extremely difficult to escape. She presented the papers to me entirely neutrally. When I said "are you serious?" she told me she's seen everything and wouldn't think any different of me if I reconciled and walked away from the whole legal thing. When I told her there was no way in hell I would reconcile with him, she said "I think you're doing the right thing".Hers and David's manner and shared opinions have been great.
