Mark's office represented my ex. The original documents I received, via Crystal Herritt, had grammar and spelling errors throughout. I provided detailed section 7 expenses on an excel spreadsheet. Mark's office redid the spreadsheet and it was a mess to say the least. Mark was very delinquent in responding to me.

I'm rather surprised at these ratings. My experience with Mark Simpson was not at all positive. He was slow in dealing with opposing counsel and frequently couldn't remember details of my case. I came into his office for a discussion and he had already booked a phone conference with opposing counsel at the same time. He hadn't discussed anything with me beforehand and I ended up negotiating with opposing counsel on the phone because Simpson couldn't recall details of my case. I cut my losses with him and found another lawyer. Extremely unprofessional, avoid at all costs.

I found that Mark was a prompt communicator, very reasonable and fair with invoicing, knowledgeable and I have been very satisfied with his services and representation on my behalf. I would highly recommend Mark to others.

Mark was very upfront with cost and timing of my divorce and settlement. He also has a great staff that does a lot of the paperwork with a lower hourly rate so I was happy when I received my invoices. Everything was very organized in court and Mark remembered everything we had talked about and didn’t need to stumble through paperwork to get the answers for the judge like the other lawyer did. I was copied on every email and phone conversation so I knew exactly what was happening and what was talked about through out the hole process. Hope I never go through this again but if I did I would call Mark back in a second.

Mark was a great lawyer who was very knowledgeable and professional. He handled high conflict situations that arose with grace and proficiency. Mark's attention to detail and memory of facts that pertained to my case were always appreciated. Mark was always compassionate towards sensitive topics. Mark worked hard for my case and I am one hundred percent pleased with every aspect of the process. I would highly recommend Mark and will utilize his services in the future if need be.

My legal dealings involved child support. I had been to a lawyer previously and much earlier when the divorce had occurred, so had some experience with process, and how intimidating and costly it could be. In all of my interactions I felt that I was treated respectfully and that Mark and his staff truly cared about me and my children's situation. I felt that all communication i.e. questions, answers, documents or explanations were addressed quickly and thoroughly and when I required further explanation or advice, it was offered and I never felt like a bother. I felt that the billing was timely and dealt with monthly so as not to have a big surprise. Mark's staff also were kind and professional. Although the process was a long haul, that had more to do with the other side. The out come was favourable for my kids and I am grateful that I had Mark and his staff help to guide me.

Mark was very professional. My divorce took over 3 years due to changes from the my ex (change in lawyers, demands etc) and he was adaptable and quick to respond to changes. I hired Mark because he was recommended and I was not disappointed. At work I deal with lawyers and Mark provided better service than what I receive at work. Knowing my ex and a little about the legal system, Mark's billings were what I expected going into the process. While the process took longer than him and I expected that was a result of my ex, not his work. He fought on my behalf and got money that I would not have gotten with out him. Going into the process knowing how lawyers bill, recognizing he is one person and having a basic understanding of the legal system I am very happy with Mark and would recommend him. He is friendly, takes time to listen, offers options, stood up for my rights, and displayed integrity. I am very comfortable that I made the right decision hiring Mark and am happy with the result.

Mark provided wise advice when I needed it and explained the process very well. I was going through a divorce and as an older person felt very vulnerable. I was able to cope with a difficult, life-changing situation with some confidence. I very much appreciate the support and encouragement that he provided.

you can always tell this lawyer is truly interested in your case, not for the money, but to succeed on your case. He will communicate and do what is need to understand your facts and situation. Even at times when there hasn't been communication for some time, he still seeks to understshd how things are going. He is one of the most knowledgeable lawyers around. One of the best, definitely.

Mark seems at first to be the guy to help you but do not be fooled. Many mistakes in communication on his end. He confuses himself when given direction, often contacted me stating "what exactly do you want me to do/expect?" Even the evening before my trial, he called me, when I was most needing assurance, he berated my case and completely let me down. He did ok in court the next day. No talk of phone call night before. He gets bored easily then its more money more money. He is uncaring and selfish, never helped after the court order was finalized, just a "can't help you out this time around" legit verbatim.. I'm left hanging with a court order with as many holes as swiss cheese, an 11,000$ piece of paper. Even thoe I offered my credit card number to continue with yearly support order adjustments, I'm not of interest or big money obviously, now need a new lawyer to finish his job. Don't hire him, he's all talk but waste of time and your money.

Great experience ... was really at a loss of how to proceed after my separation and Simpson Law was recommended to me and after comparing based on initial consults felt most comfortable to go with him. He is definitely confident, but does not do the "dog and pony show" in fact he will step up and be aggressive when and if necessary. He provides updates whenever expected and usually through email as that seems to be easier. This is a lawyer I'd recommend! Finally, just a comment that most people understand that lawyers are expensive and charge on the basis of an hourly rate. Mr. Simpson always seeks client instructions and is on a regular billing cycle so there are no surprises.
