I have been dealing with Yasmin for over a decade. She has done multiple closings for me. I do not buy anything without her going through the agreement. She's very efficient and on top of things. She has saved me many times by making the builders change the clause in my favour. I highly recommend her for all real estate needs. She's fantastic!!

I don't recommend her at all. I had a painful experience with her in real estate selling and buying a home.. She is inefficient, her team was delaying all the required document work and didn't properly communicate with the mortgage company, I had to do half of the work myself. Upon buying, she phoned our bank, not sure what exactly she told them but after her phone call, the bank stopped the transaction and we were about to lose all of our money and pay a huge fine.

Ms. Yasmin Nakhuda’s law firm handled the recent sale of our business. Prior to engaging her firm, we spoke to four different law firms. It was clear that her firm stood out based on rapport, ability to execute (within our time frame), and her experience. Her awareness of business law was impressive, and her ability to "translate" into layman terms was done in a very professional way and was very much appreciated. She and her staff always kept us up to date as the transaction progressed, and both she and her staff were always readily available when needed. Every hurdle encountered was handled efficiently and effectively. During the negotiation process, Ms. Nakhuda was unrelenting in maintaining our strategy for the sale. Every course of action put forward by the other party that could work against us, was handled firmly and favourably by Ms. Nakhuda. We have no hesitation in recommending Ms. Nakhuda and her firm, NLCI.

I have worked with Yasmin and her team on several occasions. She and her team were very professional and I was very satisfied with the way my previous matters were handled. My last matter was a very difficult personal. She help me immensely by showing me the best way to handle the situation and acheive the best outcome. Communication is extremely bad. We get 250 penalty from delivery company, because lawyer didn't call us back at promised time. They make my wife and kids crying when the delivery truck turned back because of this delay. Everything is done at the last minute or even later. I had to return to their office three times (100 km round-trip) because they forget papers or something else. Price charged is higher than advertised. They do not read email and ask to reply a week after my first reply. Overall expression (my own, my wife, my agent): the worst lawyer in the city.

Mrs. Nakhuda, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your confidence, encouragement and professionalism has made my mother for the first time in a very long time make a positive change in her life.
Struggling with my father's illness and passing in the last year and half, I thought that the family would remain stagnant forever and/or digress, but again your positive energy has shown helped us assist my mother that she is able to live a productive life. You have shown us the way and became our light.
As for the staff, if one needs to observe and learn team work, it is within the action of the office of NCLI. I was just in aw, watching the level of respect, coordination and professionalism that the staff conducted itself.

I am a real estate agent who has used the services of Yasmin Nakhuda for over ten years now. She has closed my own investment purchases and sales and has also handled volume closings for several of my clients. Mrs. Nakhuda is a very competent lawyer who has a very strong sense of loyalty and justice. My clients have been entirely satisfied with her services, some of whom have even entrusted her with unlimited power of attorney to manage their properties given they reside out of jurisdiction. I normally don't write reviews but I believe in this case that she deserves that I take the time to put down on paper what I have felt and expressed for many years to her and to many others. The ratings here don't seem genuine. We used her service for a recent real estate closing, and she did an adequate job, but NONE of the remarks below seem to ring true, based upon our real experience with NLCI "your real estate office"....
