Nieves was my second lawyer. I went to get a consultation explained my situation and she was so enthusiastic like yes I got your case won I will do this and that. Four months later going to court and court over and over she never did anything to help my case.. my second laywer and more than $10,000 on lawyers and still not divorced or been able to sell house. She will promise u a lot and will not do any sooo good luck if u hire her I wouldn't biggest mistake than the first lawyer I got. Lesson learned

How can she call herself a family attorney when she has no children and has no idea what it feels like to have your babies ripped away from a parent?! The few cases she has won, were probably stemmed from the attire she wears to the hearing.There's a saying,NOT what you know BUT WHO you BLOW.. just saying if the shoes fits lace that bad boy!

Very UNprofessional!! Her staff picks fights at FAMILY LAW mediations and I don't even want to know what she does at the Divorce courts. Rubio even wears fishnets to court-Very UNprofessional!! I don't support those who bring bad upon great families and feeds off the negativoty that this form creates. Bad energy. #iSupportShannonKotaAndKai

Please DON'T get this Lawyer worst attorney in Kern County. This lady isn't even a Mother! Will give you the worse edvice my kids are suffering at the hands of there father cause of her. So PLEASE don't wast your money on this lawyer she's a rip off and will never show up to court on time. Look for someone else people this lady needs to be band from practicing law

My ex husband hired Rubio 24 hours before our set aside hearing due to his gross misconduct, perjury, fraud, etc that he knew would be brought in from original hearing, I was not included in, in 2011. I filed motion for set aside due to exteme duress, abuse, fraud, etc..We go into court and first words out of Rubio's mouth, without having verified a true fact, was 'Mrs. ??? is an alcoholic and drug abuser', my jaw dropped! I was married to Mr. ?? for 25 years, was threatened not to respond to original petition, scared to death I did not respond. I finally got a back bone and filed set aside to receive my 'fair' share of the nearly $1 million in community assets.. All along I knew/publicly said, 'regardless of the outcome I was already a winner because I 'finally stood up to my abuser'... month & falls later decision, I WON! Rubio is rude, unethical & ex promptly fired her due to my wiping her all over floor uneducated! She is 'No Bueno' folks. Keep looking!!!

I consulted with 3 other attorneys before hiring her for my divorce. In court, she's great. Unfortunately, her office employees weren't on the same level. I was satisfied with her work. Despite being very busy, she knew what she was doing when it was time to face the judge.

I currently have Rubio and so far she has gotten us further in our case than any other attorney. I have heard nothing but good reviews then I come on and read these reviews and its one of those really?? I didn't have any problems with her. I am still currently in my custody battle but she has gotten me and my husband wayyyyy further than our other lawyers who just settled. She is actually fighting our case and has gotten us a private eye... She is AMAZING!!! AND I WOULD VERY MUCH RECOMMEND HER!

Sadly, i was recommended to this lady, paid huge bucks and it has basically taken me in a huge circle!!! She has no care in the world but to get her fees paid on time by her clients. Her office girls are HORRIBLE and when I say that, that is a complete understatement! They show no care of anyones questions or concerns. No phone calls are EVER returned! Her phones are much more important to her than being in court fighting for something you care so much about! Unless you want to lose money and get NOWHERE in your case DO NOT HIRE THIS LADY!! When I called with a simple question after our trial was done I was told that she was no longer my att and that they could no longer speak about my case. This lady cant last much longer once everyone relises that she is a con!!

This lawyer is a joke she has no interest in the case but to win. She doe not care about the children in the case nor the parents. I have seen her side with a very violent father and allow visitation. I am suprise she is a mother i am sure she would not expose her children to violence or maybe she will?? Maybe that is the household she grow up in so she does not see anything wrong with giving visitation to a violent father. She was given documents on the domestic violence and she choice to ignore.

The reviews on her are INCORRECT, I have a completely opposite opinion about Miss Rubio. She has to balance all her cases because she is good! These people contact her because of recommendations. That is how I found her. The ways she fought for me left the other attorney with nothing to fight back against and I was able to gain more custody of my children and a more balanced time to receive my kids. I am a hardworking individual and Just knowing that my ex is required to work with my schedule and vice versa, is convenient. I would agree about her texting but SHE WANTS THE BEST FOR THE CHILDREN.

PLEASE do NOT waste your money. this lawyer is a joke. always late. dose NOT fight for her clients! just wants retainer money. after that, your on your own. she will let her clients get devoured in court! she did not do her job. she needs to find a different career. she is horrible. please dont retain this lawyer unless you want to lose everything. she is a cracker jack lawyer! she will eventually have to find another job with the reputation of service she is building.

Assigned by judge tafoya to my family law case, she was really friendly with my ex's attorney (dulcich) and really "nice" to my ex, she was always late for court & charged me 100 dlls per hour just to go seat there & be on her phone texting, I did NOT hired miss Rubio by choice, it was court order, she always took my ex side, at the end she sudgested my ex to have full custody & the judge went with her suggestion so my ex got custody of our 5 yr old daughter. She was really rude to me & my lawyer, her receptionist are horrible as well. Miss Rubio bought of judge tafoya law office when he became a judge, I think it was conflict of interest to assigned her to my case since they had made business plus I found really weird how she was always late or they could never find her in the courthouse & the judge never said NOTHING to her! Don't hire her unless you wanna loose your case specially if there's kids involve!
