Ms. Starr described herself as a warrior litigator and that she certainly was. She was attentive, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, thorough and creative. Ms. Starr is also a very classy woman and quite tenancious. Unlike many other lawyers I have met, she is technologically fit. Ms. Starr is a bit sceptical even of her clients, which I understand is a better quality than simply believing what is said, enabling Ms. Starr to make up her own mind once more evidence is available. Being legally blind was never an impediment in my opinion; instead I have great respect for her hard work. I found her expensive (as most Toronto lawyers are) and I worried about costs throughout the case but found that we were able to work together better over time. Although costly, the quality was certainly top notch. Ms Starr was recently appointed a judge and I couldn't be happier for her. Of the many lawyers I have met (I work for a law firm too), she is the most deserving I know. Congratulations Ms. Starr!
