This is an extremely arrogant and condescending lawyer, and very expensive. He could not even feign a hint of genuine concern while snatching the cheques out of my hand. While looking me in the eye, he told me that past child abuse by a female parent was irrelevant to the future care of our children. In response to his callous demeanor, I reminded him that I had done nothing wrong and suggested that he imagine being in my shoes, smeared with false allegations in family court. He smugly told me that he would never be in my shoes. Ultimately, this firm was prepared to let my case drag on forever, while emptying my lines of credit. The firm was also ill prepared to correct factual errors misrepresented in court by the opposing counsel.
