Mr. Smith started out as a great lawyer, but over time it became clear that he wasn't as great as advertised. I would go weeks and week without hearing from him. I would leave messages that would go unreturned for weeks. He would take vacations without notifying me that he would be away for a week or two. He made promises that he didn't keep. He made promises to other people in my name that I had to pay without telling me first. He came across as nice at first, but when you questioned him on things he did, he became nervous and tried to come up with excuses on the spot that didn't justify his actions at all. Sometimes you would question him on things and he would pretend like he didn't hear the question even when asked repeatedly the same thing. I put up with this for five months before I had to fire him and hire another attorney that was a million times better. I'm glad I did because I received the service I deserved from the second attorney.
