This guy sent a false letter to the estate attorney saying I wanted my inheritance sent to him instead of me, in two checks, one in the amount of his bill, something that he completely made up. Charges on his invoice were clearly fabricated. He never told me he had used up my $500 retainer or that he was going to charge me $300/hr. He would not answer any questions via email. He sent important documents to the wrong address (and had no excuse). His bill was for 5 hours plus an additional hour for work not yet done, when I only had one substantial phone call with him for half an hour about what documents to request from the estate. He told me I sounded like I would be willing to pay more money!
