I'm still not sure what is going on in that office. Mr. Castrataro was recommended to me by my ex-husband. he seems like a nice guy who is severely over worked but also noticeably very immature saying the most childish thing. i felt a little worried. And what about his staff? Have any of these people had a job prior to working here? I have nothing against gay people. My brother is gay and i love him. But i didn't think I was hiring the gay community center to handle my case. that would be ok if they were effective in handling my case but I'm still waiting to know what's going on and it doesn't look good. Bottom line is there are apparently no grown ups here or anyone with an education who can return a call or an email.

Mr. Castrataro and his staff have zero communication skills. If you expect follow up in any fashion, try another firm because you will not get it at LAWGC. I was referred by one of his colleagues and I am so disappointed; I let his colleague know the same.

His work quality is poor. He is a press ****. If the case won't put the spotlight on him, you don't matter. I elected a lawyer who took my case and did not want fame. PS-Crossed eyes don't translate well on tv.

Lazy and worthless are two words I would use to desceibe the firm. And lazy and arrogrant are two words i would use to describe George. He has a major ego and feels he is above returning calls to client. He will rape you with outrageous fees to support his lavish lifestyle while doing shoddy work, at best. The praise he gives himself is a sham and so undeserved. It is all a dog and pony show. He does not care about clients. It is all about money. That's all it boils down to--greed.

Being sued is scary. George and the team were amazing. They were thorough and very proficient in meeting our goals. Perhaps the best part was how kind and caring George was to me and my husband. Nathan was so patient and Carol always there for us......

George was good to me, seemed to care. Jason was fantastic. he was there for me and helped me in every way. Going bankrupt wasn't easy. They helped me feel that I wasn't alone.

George went out of his way to help represent me in a complex real estate lawsuit. We did better than i expected. The process of litigation was rough but George and his team were engaged and on point. Love all the firms pro bono work too...keep it up!

My experience with George Castrataro and the people at his firm was amazing. I was so nervous and unsure of what to expect when I hired them to represent me in my bankruptcy. George, Carol and Jason did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. They were not judgmental. They explained everything. They answered every single email and phone call I placed- even if I had what I thought were silly questions. Having George next to me at the hearing, I felt confident and unafraid. Jason went in on the weekend to do my paperwork in order to make everything go through on time. George and the people at this firm dedicate their all to their cases. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an attorney. I honestly don't understand what these other posters could mean. It's obviously some disgruntled person with a bad attitude leaving bad anonymous feedback. I'm a real client (my case was just discharged thanks to George and the firm)and I'm happy to attest to their abilities.

I do not know what the people before me have experienced but ALL of my endeavors with Mr. Castrataro and his COMPETENT staff have been delightful. I wish nothing but the best for Mr. Castrataro and his firm. He helped me fulfill all of my goals and did so quite competently.

George Castrataro should not be permitted to practice law - he will take your money $4000 within minutes of you getting to the office - after that it will be impossible to speak with George and his staff is so incompetent and overwhelmed that they lose everything you give or send to them. If you like nightmares pick George as your atty! Because of lack of knowledge about what i needed - george actually made my case worse for me - and i ended up paying more than the actually max amount the court mandated! BEFORE GOING TO GEORGE FOR ADVICE READ THE REVIEWS OR SPEAK TO ANYONE WHO HAS HAD DEALINGS WITH MR. CASTRATARO - YOU WILL FIND THEY ALL HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE

I sent an e-mail to George over two weeks ago and neither he nor his team has responded. There are always excuses about how "it got lost in spam". His office is a dumping ground made up of primarily uneducated, unprofessional, ineffective gays. I have nothing against people who are gay. I hired an openly gay attorney, but the office needs to get its act together. PS--I am still waiting for my call.

George is not only out of touch but also outright rude. Please save your money and choose another attorney who will take time to return phone calls and messages without the attitude and major ego. George thinks he is God--NEWSFLASH--he is not. Do not be fooled by his bragging. People who are truly talented let their credentials speak. People who care about the community do things without chasing down media coverage. He wants customers to believe he cares about the community. He is a narcissist and every thing he does is self-serving. Besides that, the staff is incompetent, uneducated, and unprofessional. What law office do you know of that sends correspondences with spelling and grammar errors? I'll tell you--LAWGC. STAY AWAY! LAWGC is a joke.

huge opportunity for growth in communication department. office poorly managed/organized. office short staffed to detriment of clients. staff dresses unprofessionally (a little too casual for a law office--jeans, ugs, hoodies)). a shame because george is very smart and caring.

George is smart, but very lazy and arrogant. He will bleed you dry with fees while telling you what a bargain he's giving you. He cares more about his own ego than he does justice.
