This lawyer crossed us and it seems he made a deal with the other party's lawyer, Richar Lavoie. His mandate was to eradicate a legal hypothec instituted on our co-property illegally. We had to deposit about $15,000 'In Trust' with his firm for the eradication of the legal hypothec. After three month, the legal hypothec was finally eradicated, but Luc Fleurant would not release the $15,000. He then quit our dossier, kept us billing after he quit on us, would not release our file, and gave the opportunity for the adverse party to file an amended lawsuit against us. Our reaction: filed a lawsuit against the three lawyers one of them is from the Barreau, who did not have Fleurant release the file. Despatis of the Barreau claimed he never received the request our requests (!!)Our reaction: a lawsuit #500 32 122016 100 and Motion for Dismissal in #500 22 160943 091. A counter-lawsuit will soon be filed. Debauchery at its best.
