This arbitrator Andre Sylvestre has been seized for the last 24 years on a litigation with typographers from the Montreal Gazette, he with the same company lawyer working together has been successful of making a mockery of the legal system, this arbitrator had to quantify a 9 month period for damages, he was told that all that was left to do is to quantify the amounts and a legal battle that lasted over 20 years would be over. The 2 typographers who were supposed to receive the 9 months that was awarded to them by the arbitrator not only did not get the damages due to them, but they have to pay the company back an amount of money that the company sued these people in a counter suit, we had an order from a Federal Judge Sarah Pepall that granted us further relief, the Gazette's fault was established, we were supposed to get our damages because the lawyer for the Gazette said in a motion to the Supreme Court of Canada that all that was left was to quantify the damages owed to us.

This individual is an arbitrator on the annotated list of the Minister of Labour. He has been seized with a grievance since April 1996. 14 years later, three Appeals's Court Judgements, not counting the first one in 1991, and a Supreme Court Judgement, Me Sylvestre refuses to fix a quantum for damages and interest. And, the whole Legal System seems to be totally unperturbed! Our lives have been devastated and Sylvestre has been allowed to continue enjoying his life with impunity when he destroyed our family's. Why? Last Appeals' Court 3 500 09 016637: ยจ'Il a perdu le fil du raisonnement.'
