I appreciated everything Kim did for me and my divorce. She was vigilant, tough but fair with me and my ex-spouse.

Her knowledge of the law is about the only thing going for her. She does not like to return calls, respond to faxes and absolutely will not work within an email system. When preparing for trial she neglects to prepare the client for the questions, making things very stressful,she seems to be on her own bandwagon, not really communicating what is wanted by the client. Professionalism is presented in court, however in her office is quite another story, if you get her angry by asking too many questions for clarity. She lost my case and I would say, steer yourself to another lawyer when it comes to family issues.

Very unresponsive to numerous and repeated phone calls about my divorce. She was quick to bill the retainer, but slammed the brakes on after that. Didn't see any paperwork from her until 3 days before the pre-trial. She was supposed to mediate a divorce for my husband and I, but she blatently mediated in his favor - even my husband admitted it! Check her out on the WI Bar website (I neglected to do this) - she has been cited and disciplined numerous times. Stay far away from her unless you don't mind throwing away money.
