HIRED MR SERPE IN 2010 FOR A LOAN MOD..WHICH TO THIS DATE (11/8/12) HAS NOT GOTTEN US. HE HAS LIED TIME & TIME AGAIN..NUMEROUS EXCUSES AS TO WHY HE DID NOT STAY IN TOUCH WITH US. HE GOES MONTHS W/O ANY CONTACT.HE TOOK OUR RETAINER AND ALL IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS AND TOOK OFF ON US. HE IS VERY GOOD AT TELLING PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR..HIS LATEST EXCUSE IS HIS HEALTH ISSUES WHICH FRANKLY ARE NOT MY PROBLEM. IF HE IS NOT CAPABLE OF HELPING HIS CLIENTS THAT HIRED HIM HE SHOULD BE TRUTHFUL ABOUT THE SITUATION AND GIVE THEM THERE RETAINER AND DOCS. AND ALLOW THEM TO FIND A COMPETENT ATTORNEY WHO CAN DO THE JOB. HE ONLY MADE AN ALREADY BAD SITUATION WORSE FOR US!! DO NOT HIRE THIS LAYWER...HE WILL NOT HELP!!

Mr. Serpe disappeared on us, after having botched our 2010 bankruptcy filing so that were left with $18, 000 in IRS debt which would have been discharged had he filed within the appropriate time frame. He is dishonest, unreliable, deceitful and duplicitous. We have filed a complaint against Mr. Serpe with the grievance committee of the New York State Bar Association. And now Mr. Serpe has filed for bankruptcy himself, to protect his assets from financial liability in the matter of his professional negligence.
