I think we need to stop hiring lawyers to end marriages. The review below says she paid $100,000 and I paid $200,000 only to lose the child I gave birth to. I think I would have to advise anyone who asked not to hire a lawyer. We need to find another way. The child abuse and deceit and immorality has gone beyond what we should find acceptable. The Judges are not able to reach the moral standards we expect so there is no one to go to. I think I have to say; don’t waste your money. Find another way.

I paid Ken over $100k to get child and spousal support after a long marriage. The process took far longer and cost far more than had I gone to court. He was an ineffective negotiator and alienated the other side without achieving results. He likely meant well but is incompetent and slow. He may have been effective once upon a time but is no longer competent. Hi long, rambling letters cost me money without yielding results. Find a better a more cost effective lawyer.

This lawyer has more money than I do at the end of the day. His methodology is clearly done to bilk clients for as long as he can and for as much as he can. I found his morality and ethics to be that of a person with poor moral character. He is a bully and was deceptive to me as his client, which I again assume was done to further pad his bills. I agree with others on this site who have questioned his abilities and his ethics. I know that my husbands lawyer was very frustrated working with MR Cole and swore he would not deal with him again. My husband , much to my dismay, was belittled by this lawyer who intimidated and bullied my husband and even me who was the actual client. Overall... a very bad experience and I wish I had never got involved. Sad day for me. Sad day for my husband. Good day for my lawyer,Mr. Cole who now has pretty much cleaned me out. Look elsewhere for a more rewarding and satisfying experience.

Very slow, agrees on deadlines and then misses them by not just days but weeks and months. Does not know how to manage client expectations and so negotiations drag on and on, bills are excessive. Even the mediator was frustrated as he appeared to be incapable of reaching an agreement in one case. Many Toronto lawyers will refuse to represent individuals whose spouses have hired Mr. Cole due to the lengthy and unreasonable delays. If you want to actually obtain a divorce and have money left to support yourself, don’t hire this man.

Ken is a good, honest lawyer who helped me in my divorce proceedings. He isn't as tough as I would like but he did an ernest job. Albeit he is very expensive

Ken is understanding but very expensive. He is not honest with Men about custody, support and court issues. He discourages you from going to court as he would rather run up your bill trying to negotiate with the other side when they won't budge and they are blatantly lying and using the system to wear you down. MEN BEWARE!!!
