Well, the ending of my SIL's divorce proceeding went well but not because of Ms. Mondragon. She opposed all of the common sense stuff that my SIL needed to provide for herself after the divorce. Her husband's attorney helped with everything. If not for her, my SIL would have been extremely out of luck. Ms. Mondragon only cares about the client with the money, not the poor. She pretended to listen to my SIL in the beginning and said she would help her but she ended up being her worst enemy. I highly recommend not hiring her for anything.

Right now I'm really upset at this lawyer since I pushed my sister-in-law to hire her and had everyone in her family donate money to help pay since my sister-in-law (SIL) does not have the means to pay. She met with her and sent in several options from her husband but she did not want to meet with my SIL until the 4th attempt, which was a week before her trial. She is now saying she's not going with any of the options and making her sell the homes they own jointly even though they agreed on waiting a year to sell since the homes will be worth more. Additionally, she is making my SIL go back and ask her husband for more information A WEEK BEFORE THE TRIAL even though she tried to meet several times with her previously. My SIL is in shock and very upset that she is making her do this all at the last minute. I really hope everything turns out in the end but the lawyer is dragging this out so she can make more money and not listening to what the client agreed on.

She has terrible billing practices. She bills everything at her hourly rate even though her staff does all the drafting she bills nothing at the lower rate as outlined in her retainer agreement. You should all check your statements.

I used a different lawyer for my divorce. I would refer anyone who has to get a divorce to this lawyer even though he represented my wife

Ms. Mondragon represented me in court and she did a terrific job! She fought an unfounded ticket, she knew what section of the law to quote and she had a response for all of the prosecutor's arguments. Even though I was right there in court with her she explained to me (in layman terms) everything that had happened in court. I would never have been able to afford that ticket and my insurance would have skyrocketed! She was one of the best investment I have done in a long time.Thank you, Ms. Mondragon :)

Ms. Mondragon failed to do the work for which she was hired in a timely manner, causing a delay in my divorce and my wife hired her own lawyer due to Ms. Mondragon's incompetence. When I fired her she presented a bill which included previously paid items, did not include my IOLTA account credit, and included unnecessary charges for correcting her own errors. Total incompetence and a waste of time and money.

She was 10 minutes late for court appearance. She said approximately 2 sentences during the court proceedings. Paperwork submitted was not case specific just generalities that could be applied to any case (the judge commented on this). Before the case she said the judge appointed to hear the case was lazy and probably would give a poor verdict. Paperwork requested by client to be filed with the court was not done even though said she would do so.
