Trust me when I say all the positive comments here are a joke. Read all the negative ones and you will see how she operates. Beyond impossible to get a timely response from, misses steps in the legal process and as the client you pay. I might as well have hired ex at least she would have replied to my emails and phone calls. Complete waste of time, money and energy spent on Cindy Turner. She clearly spends her time writing raving reviews of herself rather then spending time on her very high paying clients. Now I want to clarify Im not writing this because I didn't get the result I wanted in court, I can't even get to court because she is never available to make a plan of action, respond to emails or phone calls and as a result I'm getting hammered by my exs lawyer who is moving her case forward and I'm sitting waiting for Cindy to do ANYTHING. Trust the negative comments, read them and see for yourself that they are all saying the same thing, waste of time, money and energy.

Does not communicate with her own clients. Ignores client's phone calls until it is too late and the deadlines have passed. Poor at scheduling and allows important deadlines to pass at her clients detriment. Then needs more time and money to reopen issues that should have been settled. Goes before the judge unprepared. Not totally imcompetent as she always collects her fee on time. Worse off than when I hired her as she been a hinderance to our case.

Cindy Turner has no best interests as a child advocate
lawyer if court appointed through legalaid she does not speak for her clients nor does she follow the court order unless she feels depending and which parent and who opposing counsel.following court appointed parenting order..she allows her clients to be bullied into submission and allows threats made on children..hasnt bothered to bring it back to court in over 4 years, because of biast behavior being given to opposing lawyer instead of listening to her clients beggingfor her to do something with minimum of 20 phones made by clients to cindy on what was going on in the home.allowing biast to continue with court appointed psych asssment to not followed for 18 months to 2 years precovid and encouraging parental alienation and irresverible mental trauma ,which when finally getting assesment for the child to be present during parenting interview which negates the entire assessment...has allowed and condoned downward spiral psychologi

Takes on too much work, disorganized and is very dishonest. If you owe her any money, even less than $500 she will make sure you lose all custody and access in court by not getting the affidavits in time to court, blaming her assistants especially in court saying that to a judge. I do not understand how COCHARD could have taken her on when she has a bad rep, yeah really smart move there, change your name to "Kids do not matter" or "Money matters only".

I was living in a safe house when I hired Cindy, she said I was in good hands. Cindy is slow in getting documentation, affidavits from witnesses, and in filing affidavits, once not filing my affidavit until the day of court. The judge refused to read my affidavit, said there wasn't time time the day of appearance. Errors in wording created an order that supported the Defence. The defendant disobeyed court orders, Cindy would do nothing. She did not update me on a cancellation, I flew to AB for discovery and had to pay court reporter time, my flights and accommodation. I paid Cindy close to $70,000. She books appointments for phone calls 2-3 weeks in advance, does not return calls or emails in a timely fashion, if at all. She met with opposing council and defendant outside of the court room to discuss settlement, unethical practice. If your case is DIFFICULT do NOT use CINDY TURNER! She is smart but lazy and unprofessional. I got damaged property and a $12,150 settlement. Thanks Cindy.

One of the best lawyers. She is kind and caring and really feels for her clients. I could not have asked for a better lawyer. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Ms. Turner is great at what she does. She works hard and returns calls when she is able to - sometimes late into the evening. She knows exactly what to argue for the Court to understand your position. I would recommend her to anyone.

Cindy was great in trial. She cross examined so well that the witness admitted on the stand they lied. I would definitely recommend her. She is compassionate and really cares about her clients.

My ex wanted to keep me away from my children. I hired Cindy and she helped me get access to my children. She works long hours and fights hard in Court. I would not be seeing my children if she did not fight so hard for me. finally the truth came out.

Cindy helped me with my nasty divorce. She was very professional and great in court. I was further ahead with her than with my other lawyer. She is busy but that means she is good. She will tell you what is the fastest way to communicate with her that works. Excellent lawyer.

I used her based on cochard reputation. No communication at all. After a year and a half I had no court orders whatsoever. Nothing. I paid her approx 30000$ for absolutely nothing. She was completely uninterested in my case. But for me it was my life. Hugely disappointed and disgusted.

Well I have no doubt Cindy knows her stuff. The lack of communication and wasting of time and money is what ultimately made me change counsel. Most time it would take a week for her or her assistant to get back to me. Also billed for scheduling and cancelling meetings with the opposition attorney.

Cindy is not a good lawyer and I have no problem sharing my experience sharing with people who are looking for a lawyer and this name I give as NOT TO HIRE. Se takes on too much work, a scatter brain, She's slow with paperwork and actually blames her assistants in court, Really Cindy Really , NICE, takes well over a year to sign a court order, cannot get affidavits in time for a judge to read, does not care about her clients at least the ones she knows she cant win in court so like every other lawyer spends very little time on your case and more time on the cases she knows she can win. Tell me in the beginning you don't think you can win then I will find a lawyer who can instead of waste my $$$ on you. Also her waste of what little effort she gave is not free and will cost you in the long run. STAY AWAY

Cindy handled my file with great skill and was tough when it came to Court. The Judges respect Cindy and it shows in the court room. I was very impressed with her quick thinking when asked questions by the judge. I would recommend her.

She just handled my case and lost on all counts. She gave bad advice, was a poor communicator and most importantly did not challenge the other party in court. She was not in any way tenacious as you would want a good lawyer to be. Also very expensive.

Cindy is one of the slowest lawyrs i have ever seen.we walked into court about 2 months ago and now i am still waitting for my order to be signed and filed because she fked up on a few things and now its been back and forth through the lawyer and jack sht is getting done but maybe this is there money game >>>?????? crap

CINDY IS THE VERY BEST LAWYER SHE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HER CLIENTS AND MAKES SURE THAT SHE DOES WHAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN! SHE HAS DONE MORE FOR MY CASE BEING IN COURT TWICE THAN MANY OTHER LAWYERS HAVE DONE FOR ME IN THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH CINDY!
