I was trying to fight for my inheritance from another province (a different set of laws) so the first hurtle was finding someone to agree to take on my case. Mr. Watchorn was my savior as my situation was looking bleak and nearing end of probate. Alan has a exceptional expertise of the law/system including first hand acquaintance of many key players. If it wasn't for his calming, knowledgeable presence I would have lost my mind at times. Alan was remarkably well organized with the mountain of documents and paperwork of this case . His proficiency, diplomacy and professionalism are top-notch. Not only did I admire his intellect during our meetings and discussions but I so relished the amusing anecdotes he'd share with me. Alan Watchorn is the only lawyer I have ever heard of that would personally come to meet and pick you up when you arrive at the airport then drive you safely to your hotel. Not just once he did this for me, BUT TWICE. I highly recommend him!!

allan watchhorn may know the knowledge to wheel you into his web ,once he has you in he continues to take your money and just uses the info you provide him ,to charge you for copying and long distance calls to opposing side .does not follow through on enforcing court orders or act as hired for estate litigatation ,he is only after your money and will try and persue in receiving money that he did not earn ,the info he used was info he was presented by client ,he takes your grief and hardship for his own gain do not approach this lawyer ,especially if you are griefing the loss of a loved one and families being torn apart he only makes it worse ,for you.

I had Mr. Watchorn act for me in a Will Variation case where my brother was receiving the lions share of my mothers estate. He worked very hard for me and caused me to get a very good settlement.Because of his caseload he was not always able to respond quickly to my emails , but did call or email usually within the day. I would recommend him to any one with a contested estate case.

You guys have no idea what you are talking about. I know Allan and he is a great lawyer. He won my case and now I got over a six figure compensation from a local insurance company. I have strongly recommended Allan to all my friends and in general to everyone.

a true **** lawyer who is negligent in a number of ways.First he nearly lost our chance to file a statement of claim. If my sister had not questioned the date he would have missed it. Second he calls me at ten at night to find out if I have received the probate document.He then asked if I knew when the last day of February was as he didn't know if it was Feb 28th or 29th. Second he did not catch a $10,000 accounting error. He was never timely with his responses to our emails or phone messages. In fact we were to receive the remainder of our father's estate in July. He determined without consultation with us that he needed to see the invoices of the other lawyer's firm that was in charge of father's estate. Two and half months later Watchorn gets back to us. He charged us four hundred dollars to review the file, finding nothing untoward. Repeatedly we felt our case was always put at the bottom of his pile while he worked on his garden.

Absolutely avoid this lawyer. He is very dishonest in his billing, and is negligent in his quality of work. His assistants are rude and disrespectful to you as a client. Both he and his assistants do not appear interessted in getting repeat business. We were charged for services he did not perform and when we contested it with him he refused and threatened to take us to court. When we then decided we were being forced to pay and attempted to pay a bill we strongly feel we do not owe he refused to accept payment in his office and attempted to coerce us into meeting him at the court to pay him (without actually having the court procedings) so he could then charge us his fee for attending court. The services he did perform we have had assessed by 2 other lawyers who described his work as useless and negligent and recommended we take action against him. We filed a formal complaint against his professional conduct, and were informed by the Law Society how and where we could dispute his fee.
