I agree 100% with the previous rating. Mr. Werner did the same exact thing to me. The attorney that did handle my case had no idea what was going on. I would have been better off representing myself.

Mr. Werner had me sign a contract with an engagement retainer which was never explained to me. I did not understand that no part of this retainer would ever be refunded if not fully earned. He also had a bait and switch approach meaning that I paid to interview him and agreed to his services and number 10 on the list of 11 items on the contract introduced his co-counsel. He never did any work but had another lawyer do the work whom I had never even met. The reason I wanted to hire Mr. Werner was because he seemed to be very aggressive and assertive. The other lawyer did not have these characteristics and I never would have hired him. I feel like I was duped by Mr. Werner and I find it to be reprehensible that he is permitted to get away with this.
