I usually don’t leave reviews I usually find it time consuming. I wanted to do a review for my lawyer. She is the nicest human - she genuinely gives a****- being a male I thought the system would rock me regardless. She was reliable and whenever I was having a breakdown she gave me hope. She gets her job done and on top of that she always checks in and just makes sure you are ok. She’s is worth the money that’s one thing I can say money can’t buy your peace but karen has always walked me off the edge I owe her my life !! K.S

I had the pleasure of retaining the services of Ms Dosanjh. I was very sceptical at first as I was reading some mixed reviews however, I went with my gut and I retained Miss Dosanjh all I can say is it was the best decision of my life she’s empathetic kind and she follows up and checks in on her clients, I went through a very difficult separation and she continue to motivate me and encourage me to not allow my situation to take over. I will agree she is expensive but she is worth every damn penny because there is no price on peace of mind. She delivers end of story! And she has a moral compass which lawyers DO NOT have- I seriously think that any negative reviews are probably from people on the other side because the people that referred me to her had nothing but good things to say so when you people are reading reviews, don’t believe everything you see sending lots of love and vibes to those people going through difficult times / it will pass just believe.

Please do not hire this lawyer. Karen is by far the most unethical, dishonest lawyer I have ever met. She was nice to me until I retained her services, then she took my money and left me hanging. She booked appointments with me, always showed up late then billed me for the full time. She billed me for appointments that didn’t even take place. She dragged my case on as long as she could and charged me by far more than she should have. Please do not hire this lawyer, do your research and ask around. Many people in the community will tell you to be careful when dealing with her. DO NOT HIRE HER !!!

Very poor communication. She always has an excuse for her delays. Wants to drag everything out for as long as possible. Does not disclose all communications from other lawyer, did not mention entire settlement offers from other lawyer to me, I had to hear about it from my ex. She is only interested in prolonging your case to maximize her billable hours. DO NOT HIRE!!

Awful lawyer! She did nothing for my case and she took all my money. She charges her hourly rate to read an email! She speaks to you like your worthless and does not respect you. She discloses other peoples cases to excuse herself from my case. Save your money with this lady and go to another lawyer! She took $6000 from me and did absolutely nothing for my case. She never gives you a statement of accounts at the end of each month and when she does you do understand anything is wrote! DO NOT HIRE HER!

Earlier this year I hired Niman LLP. After spending almost 17K and getting no where I was recommended to Kiran Dosanjh. My case was really sensitive and difficult. The fact that we were now among a pandemic and courts were limited it was even harder to get results. The party we were dealing with was non responsive and never ending drama. Karen Pushed really hard to get me results. She is very assertive in court. Her work ethics and willingness to help me was very admirable. She really went above and beyond with my custody case. I regret not finding her in the beginning of my case but glad she took over and exceeded all expectations.

If I could rate worse than 1 I would. Karen Dosanjh is $750 an hour and not worth a quarter of that fee! She is unethical, disrespectful and a liar. If you want a shark that will drain your bank account and has no morals this is your kind of lawyer.

I want to leave this message personally from my heart, I've been very fortunate these past years to have Karen as my lawyer. I can tell she really put her heart into my case and she has helped me in a way nobody else has throughout this process. She was very patient and always had the time to explain all the steps and the process to me. She was very concerned about my situation and I felt very protected, she felt very much like a friend to me. I would have to disagree with most of the negative messages written on here towards Karen as she was a great lawyer and a very big help to my daughter and I. I never felt disrespected, she was always there for my emergency phone calls and she always helped me with advice. I truly reccomend having Karen as your lawyer. She's not only a good lawyer but a good person with a good heart.

Karen Dosanjh is very dangerous; while she speaks beautifully and carries herself well, she only cares about making money. She would rather drag things out by not answering emails, not responding directly to questions, lying, and basically stopping every effort to move forward in a case. She clearly cares more about maximizing her own billable time than helping her clients with their matters. Worse, she has no conscious when it comes to helping her clients move on with their lives in a positive way!!! She should not be practicing family law!!

Worst lawyer ever. She speaks to you nicely until you retain her then treats you so disrespectfully and does nothing. She took my money and then did nothing for me. She avoided my calls and didn’t advise me on next steps. Since retaining her I learned she has a bad reputation in the community and in the Brampton court. So many people have asked me why I chose her and they shake their head. I wish I could just get my money back and report her so she loses her license.

karen is a very good lawyer she says it like it is she will go to bat for her clients i watched her in a child custody hearing and the knowledge and passion she has is amazing. she is a lawyer who believes in fathers rights and always maintains that there should be equality and fariness for parents to raise their children we need more lawyers who practice law as a passion and not just a job to make money. Recommend her to anyone looking for solid results. worth every penny.

Karen is flat out amazing. Facing a custody battle for my 6 month old daughter I thought I'd never win, both Karen and her associate Glenda Delivered everything I thought was best for my little girl from the start. I don't think of her as my lawyer, I now consider her a friend. She's not only a professional and is in it for they payout, she was emotionally involved every step of the way. She took time on occasion late in the evening on her own time with her famity just to call and make sure things were okay with my daughter and I. She's fearless in the courtroom, and doesn't stop until shes as comfortable with the outcome as her clients. I hope I never need her as counsel again, but I would call her, or recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Karen and Glenda, thank you both for saving the relationship, and future I have with my daughter, and ensuring my family stays as intact as it should be. Awesome lawyer, great in court knows what she wants is organized gets things done, yes she is pricey but she gets it done. She will be honest and tell you straight if you have a case or not. She's nice and follows up to make sure orders are correct. She is busy so she doesn't always get back right away but she does. I would definitely recommend her!!

Once she receives payment, she ignores her clients calls. Tells client that opposing council is stalling...but she is not providing requested information. the karen that i dealt with is only karen dosanjh she is not kaur. I will say that she is very smart and knows alot about family law within 15 minutes she told me what my chances were. I stuck with her for 1 year until my trial was over, and she got me everything and more. I will admit the only thing that sometimes upset me was is that she is very very busy so she take 2-3 days to get back but with the service and quality of work it is worth it. Im shocked to read some of the stuff. I think you will always have people that are not happy lets face it who really likes lawyers! if you aske me she is great and she is liked very much by other lawyers i have seen her in court many times. wish her the best - Leslie D'silva

Very poor knowledge for a qualified lawyer. I would not recommend her. She talks too much, only wants money and I've never seen a actual bill from her. Every time I ask for a bill, she would make some excuse to not give it to me. I think she should be reported to the Law Society of Upper Canada for her misconduct. I bet if she is audited by the Law Society, she will get disbarred immediately as she has no proper bills for her clients.

I CAME TO MS. DOSANJH IN 2011 FOR THE ACCESS TO SEE MY SON, AS MY WIFE HAD FALSELY HAD ME CHARGED, I BEING A FATHER HAD NO HOPE, AND I HEARD MS DOSANJH HAD A VERY POWERFUL VOICE WHEN SHE WAS IN COURT AND SHE FOUGHT FOR THE TRUTH, THIS KAREN IS THE ONE WHO IS NOT FROM INDIA SHE IS BORN IN CANADA. Karen has been very supportive throough my divorce and has provided me with great support. I am a single mother of a 6 year old girl, karen has been very competent and has always been available even on weekends. for those who say she is from india she is clearly not i think there is 2 lawyers with the same name and one may be from india but . i would recommend her most definately she also speaks punjabi and hindi which is a great asset i wish her all the best she will suceed.

I came to ms dosanjh, with no hope of getting custody of my son and daughter, no lawyer gave me confidence esp because i was the father. Ms dosanjh made me feel very good and she guided me throughout, even taking phone calls on the weekends. I have both my children today she is awesome, and above all she is compassionate. would def recommend single fathers for sure!!!

Would make a great used cars salesperson but an awful lawyer. My case has which is a simple contract case has dragged on for months and she has failed to return my calls. Very limited legal knowledge, I was able to obtain better advice via the internet. Unethical billing practices. I have begun to initiate a complaint about her failure to respond to my calls and handle my case in a timely with the Law society of Upper Canada. This is a very unprofessional and incompetent lawyer. She studied in India so I'm not sure if she is qualified enough to practice here. She does not know the Family Law Rules and procedures. She is constantly filing wrong documents. Numerous spelling errors and other mistakes on documents. As for billing, she is completely HORRIBLE. She does not know the proper guidelines when it comes to billing clients. She just takes the money at the beginning and then she does not do the work.When I asked for a bill, I never got one. She just made so many excuses, I don't think she even knows how to use PC Law. Horrible lawyer.My uncontested divorce took over 2 years and I had to change lawyers before I could get it done. With the new lawyer, it took less than 6 months. Ms. Dosanjh is a very incompetent lawyer and should not be allowed to practice in Canada unless she went back and do her studies in law school over here.

Worst damn lawyer in the country. Very impressive during first consultation. however, upon receiving retainer, she is the worst. She never takes calls or returns calls to clients. She is very money minded and she is very sloppy in her work. She has very bad ethics and is very rude. Plus she doesnt seem very educated, she is only skilled in how much she can talk. I was very disatisfied with her work and after waiting for 2 years for my divorce papers to be filed, i had to change lawyers and even then she gave me and my new lawyer such a hard time to get my file back. Very nasty and unqualified woman. However, very polite and plesant staff.
