Claire Lightner agreed to defend my custody case so I could keep my children. Instead, she brought in another attorney who Claire said was an appellate attorney and would help defend my family. Rosenberry, the supposed appellate atty. wasn't an appellate attorney at all. Claire set us up with an attorney who lied to us, instilled fear and forced us into a situation we didn't want. Claire refused to correct what Rosenberry did, refused to help us, and blamed us and our children for her and his incompetence and deceitful practice. She never defended our case. She brought in an attorney to continue her deceit and help cover-up her repeated family code violations in our case. Claire's defense is it's our fault because Claire brought in an attorney who lied to us about the law and forced us into the very situation we were fighting. This case should be investigated now that one of the attorneys ended up in jail!

Claire Lightner represented my family in a custody dispute where opposing counsel's request for his client was to separate three siblings.At least one Appellate case (Williams) was available in our favor yet Lightner never used or submitted this case to the court to help defend our family. Claire testified under oath "family law attorneys do not brief case law to the court" that favors the client. Mention this statement to any decent attorney and watch his/her jaw drop. Briefing case law in support of your client is LAW 101. & even teach this basic fact to paralegals. Claire failed to object to perjured reports by minor's counsel submitted the day of trial although there is actually a code that protects parents from this practice of surprise. It allows the parents to defend against false information.She also failed to ask for child support but billed thousands of dollars.Claire put our family in the worst situation possible & shamelessly held her hand out for payment.Predator or atty?
