My encounter was early this year.Our main and most important issue was to contest a will. He pretended he never knew that. He was deceptive and misleading. He told us he would get things done. He wasted time and after taking our money.He charged an excessive amount and did not provide us with billing documents or any status nor did he give us any report of progress.I would not recommend him. As I checked other reviews, it seems he has a pattern of doing what he did to us.After getting our money he wasted much time, then told us he couldn't represent us.Although, he told us he would get things done. After he did what he did to us, it makes it extremely difficult to trust attorneys. Consequently we were left having to start all over again and with a loss time and much money. I will be checking more of his record. The way he did us, was worst than the loss of the death of a loved one and needing help from a trusting person to help us with our case. He was a disappointment and setback

I called Mr. Zapolis for an initial consultation regarding my mother's will and estate. Mr. Zapolis was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, thoroughly walking me through each of my questions. Although I did not retain his services due to the limited size of my mother's estate, based on our initial consultation alone I would highly recommend him as an attorney. He was a much needed resource during a very difficult time.

Poorly prepared my fathers estate which caused us children to fight, that is the last thing you would want to happen. I would never hire him to prepare an estate. Beware of him and explain everything to your children before you pass. His fees kept mounting as he kept us children apart and fighting. He is a bully. Have all your children any meeting you have with him. Sure he invites you to a nice restaurant for a meal and his pitch, I don't think he would let me in as I would tell everyone my opinion of him. We all get along now because we recognized his method of conducting business with an estate.

He was so knowledgeable and forthright. He explained everything thoroughly so we understood. We know he can't always answer phone calls immediately as he does go to court for clients like he did for us. We highly recommend him.

Rob was amazing. Compassionate, and knowledgeable. We didn't always like his "bedside manner", but he told us what the law was and what we needed to do. He pulls no punches, but when dealing with medicaid and estate planning law, you need to know the truth whether you like it or not. As far as his fees go, I thought he was very reasonable given what he was dealing with.

Asks for $5,0000 up front then makes sure he spends it all. Made a mistake on the order of who inherits after both parents have died. Takes forever to get things done and is not always familiar with the case when speaking to him. He always needs to call you back and of course rattles on so he can charge more for the phone call.All meetings no matter how short, are charged for one full hour, $250.00. He likes to compare himself to a doctor and a doctors fees when questioned about his prices. We feel ripped off.

His seminars are informative an honest- he is knowledgeable about protecting your family and your assets- I am glad I put the things I value in the best care.
