concise information during initial consult and follow up emails. At this time i elected to not pursue my suit, but i will be looking him up in the future when my fortunes change

I think Michael Watkins handled my case very well. He understood the situation. He was knowledgeable and handled the case in a timely manner. His follow-up with communications was good, and he was very affordable.

This guy is unbelievably incompetent. Rude,arrogant,unprofessional,abrasive,demanding.Treated me like an idiot.Simple divorce(legally speaking).Had to come up with A LOT of stuff immediately(he demanded)I obliged.I learned most of it was unnecessary. He kept blaming her lawyer for holding things up. Untrue.I had assumed that my wife was dragging her feet.(she filed for divorce,found someone else,left the kids and me). She emailed after 6 mos.w/the threat of court if I didn't sign papers. What papers? Watkins hadn't done anything!I called him 3 consecutive days.Calls not returned.Finally I caught up w/him. Lame excuses. 6 more months; wife asks me to sign papers.NO PAPERS. One week later,I get a call from receptionist.She says that she called 2 weeks ago & left message.Funny,I don't own an answering machine. Checked caller ID for the past month. No calls from Watkins.DISGRACEFUL Paperwork is ready(we'll see)after 22 mos.& $2000 later.This guy made a stressful situation worse.

mr. watkins is con-man. he says he is going to alot of things and never does. you have to do alot of paperwork in the way he specifies it. he is out to make a buck, yet defame your character if it suits him.
