The client did all the work. A paralegal that I know helped and he was not prepared 2 weeks before the divorce. I had to hire another attorney. He took me off the case 2 weeks before the divorce and today he just signed a release for another attorney! Do not even try the Blackmon Firm. It use to be an exceptional firm. They are either on burn out or need more education.

This was a clear cut domestic violence case with proof of everything. Charged me $25,000 and lost case by not bringing any facts, evidence, etc., that I presented from first meeting with him. Extremely passive, not assertive at all. Should have won hands down. Canceled meetings, charged for things he didn't do. I feel I did all the work. He had lots of documents with nothing ever done or figured out. Lazy and did not focuse. Still refuses to admit we lost the case and I am so messed up from the beating(s)and he couldn't even get me the money I came into the marriage with. DO NOT HIRE!

I was told I had a STRONG case for winning custody. In the end, he did not have the tenacity to pursue the relevant case law with the judge. He then told me I had no reason to even appeal the case after charging me over 11k and insisting there was even a case to be fought. He did not chastise the ad litem who did not show due diligence in investigating the circumstances.
