I have seen her work for about 20 years. She is always prepared, reasonable, and effective in court. I suspect that the really negative reviews on this site come from men (I am male, btw) who, it must be said, typically come away from litigation angry. What participants in family litigation really hate is that they need to compromise or face the consequences in court. A very good family court Judge in BC once said that "when everyone leaves my court unhappy, then I know I made the right decision". He was right. No one 'wins' in family law. It's a bruising, difficult process. Family lawyers like her know this and work hard to protect their clients, often, from themselves.

In a nut shell, hiring this woman to represent you is the equivalent to hiring a second lawyer to represent your ex spouse. I am completely shocked that she is even allowed to practice law.

Very good Lawyer! She fought for me and my child. she is knowledgeable and tells you the way it is. a lot of people go to court over child custody with a mind set "I want, I want" but in the end a judge is going to do whats fair for for your child. He is always going to try for a 50/50 arrangement (if both parties are good parents) I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I used her as a divorce lawyer, I expected her to fight for me, and stand up for my rights. Did nothing, wanted me to pay what my spouse demanded. Did little or nothing for me. I would NOT recommende her. It would of been nice to have this site up before I had hired her.

Useless! The only time anything got done was when I emailed or called and tried to motivate her. Even then, not much happened and I was billed for each and every email I had to send to her. I wasted two years trying to get her to do something and finally gave up. She's horrible.

What a horrible lawyer!! She is cheap for a reason! She has horrible communication, doesn't care about anything but "settling". Two years and thousands later, I have a ridiculous agreement that I have to keep going back to court over just to add BASIC items that should be staple in ANY divorce agreement. She is insensitive and NOT a good lawyer. I will now pay a REAL lawyer to finish what I thought was already done. So disappointed.

Very happy with this lawyer. Professional, very knowledgable and has a cheaper hourly rate than most other lawyers. I felt she was honest, hardworking and would recommend her, especially after having some horrible lawyers before her. (Do NOT use William Van Delft- he is clueless about family law and way more expensive with no results.)
