I was shocked each time to go to court i would lose,my only crime was I moved a few times with daughter and the CAS took my life away. this lawyer did not help ,but just gave an over priced bill only to have nothing left at the end.

Mr Schafer quit as my lawyer the day before court via email. I had questioned his assistant Maria DeSousa about the wording of my court documents as they were copied my exact words and did not sound legal and professional as I had expected. I asked if I was supposed to phrase my case facts differently. She relayed to Grant that I had said he was unprofessional to which I received an email from Grant suggesting I find new council. I responded with an apology for the mis-communication and further praised his knowledge. I requested a phone call which I never received. Instead I received an email telling me he was couriering my court documents to me. He never once spoke to me about the matter and heavily jeopardized my custody case. He is completely unprofessional and his assistant’s social skills leave much to be desired.
