Buyer beware, I signed a flat fee retainer agreement for a simple post divorce issue. She then tried to charge me for time related to this matter even though the flat fee covered the scope of the issue. I would never work with Robin or her firm again.

Robin is a horrible lawyer, she is only in it for the money. She is very unorganized and messy. She was never prepared for any of the meetings or court appearances, fumbling through paperwork looking for what she needed. Every little thing cost so much money and charged me for every little thing, she, also, added extra that wasn't even needed just to charge me more money, the case went on forever because of all her drama, my ex spouses lawyer was so put together and prepared, I was so embarrassed every time. Trust the bad reviews and don't go with Robin. I guarantee the good reviews are her, considering they are all 5's.

Robin and her team paid attention to detail and provided outstanding guidance through my divorce and the emotional child custody process. Robin was extremely knowledgeable and helped me navigate through a difficult and challenging divorce after a 20 year marriage. I had been the primary breadwinner and Robin was instrumental in having a vocational expert provide evidence to the court proving my ex was capable of earning a fair salary so I would not be forced to pay support to him. I am grateful for the expert guidance and professional 'hand holding' she offered during this time.

Robin and her partner Bobby Salim only care for money. They take forever to bump up the charges and with no results. every email and call costs money. Bobby is slow and seems inexperiences. Robin cares for the money more than the client's case. I would not recommend this service to any one.

I hired her for a child custody case. Should have known going into her unkempt office with papers all over the floor and her being 40 mins late (and still charging me!) it was a bad choice. I paid her my initail retainer, however, when I got my first bill it was over twice the retainer! She charged me for every email and was not upfront about costs. There is no way my simple emails cost $4500...sorry! Her associate Steve Peck was even worse, a total push over. Robin is very unprofessional just by the way she dresses should be a sign. My new attorney knew of her and laughed. He had trial with her and said she was so unprepared and unprofessional. Stay away trust the reviews!

Total drama queen. Only out for herself and creating as much drama as possible. Will run up a HUGE bill without a care in the world of what you can/cannot afford - and will create SO MUCH drama to make all matters worse than the ever needed to be - avoid this attorney at all costs - disaster - total disaster.

I was bounced around as a client from lawyer to lawyer. I actually did not meet my primary attorney except on one occasion. Robin Becker was unavailable during the majority of the time I was with their firm. I ultimately fired them and subsequently was suited for the balance of what they documented as costs. Be careful of these attorneys.

Robin Becker is one word, class. She has a professionalism, and demeanor about her that far outweighs the opposing attornies. She is fair and doesn't hit you with any surprises. Highly recommended.

I read some of the comments basing a decision on Robin solely on money? This horrifies me. Custody battles, to begin, are expensive and it is very difficult to predict where one's case goes in court. There are too many unforeseen circumstances, as well as the very often unaccomodating court system. Still, Robin proved to me, repeatedly, her integrity as an ethical, upfront, honest, capable and professional lawyer in the utmost fashion. Be honored to have her as your attorney. One word of advice here. Listen to her professional advice. Too often when one sways from the wisdom of such an outstanding lawyer, one digs his/her own grave financially by unknowingly forcing the proceedings to be dragged out longer than anticipated. Robin will always be tops in my books and I rate her as the best lawyer I ever had. Thank you Robin.

She did what she said she would do although the quote she gave came out to twice as much. It is redicilous the fees for every thing that is generated. We took one session to come to an agreement and the rest of the fees were for her assistants work. Had I realized that this is how she worked I wouldn't have ever chosen her. When I questioned the charges her secretary told me that they would get back to me and never did. They kept sending bills but never called. I wouldn't recommend her ever. I felt that it was very shady not being up front when asked about the total amount we would be charged.

My wife and I needed help with our divorce. Neither of us have a legal background. Two years of counseling was coming to an end, and our counselor recommended speaking with Robin Becker. She sees clients in two locations - the north suburban location was perfect for us. Robin is a good listener and she was very upfront about our options. Once we created a plan for the divorce, she quoted us a very fair price and everything has been smooth sailing. One 'plus point' is that she is a caring person and understood the pain we were going through. I am grateful for her help. The only reason I rated 'tenacity' as a 4 was because things went smooth enough that nobody had to force anything with anyone. She made everything flow smoothly - which is a real blessing at a time like this. Thanks again!

Highly unethical, she pushed and antogonized my matter for a profit. Countless motions filed with no merit that ultimately left the judge with an unfavorable opinion of me based on her behavior. It finally got to a point where my pleadings were ignored based on past behavior. I came across as unwilling to compromise and it was held against me many times. She is tenacious in all the wrong ways. Don't hire this attorney you will regret it!

this attorney racked up a ridiculous amount of fees and NO SOLUTIONS! She is afraid of opposing council and completely unorganized. this attorney put myself and my children at risk for so many things by not protecting us in the manner a divorce attorney should - BE WARE - -
