We hired this laywer to broker our purchase of a business and to create our corporation. We asked him to look over the lease before we signed to find any red flags. Apparently the whole lease was a red flag and he told us there was no issues. We didn't find out until 2 years later when we ran into problems the landlord. We spoke to other lawyers and they said we are screwed and that Richard Startek JR didn't read the lease and didn't advice us properly. Because of this guy we are going to have to sell our business and sell our home to get out this mess. DON'T TRUST THIS LAWFIRM. We paid them almost $15000 for this.

Richard Startek jr. is brilliant. It took him 1 day to listen and understand the situation and less than a week to wrap up a divorce settlement plan, which took the previous lawyer 15 months of back and forth, with no sign of closure, but was headed to court. I can't believe the difference in the professional and caring way Richard handled our situation. There was no need to go to court.

For a man as busy as Richard Startek Jr. is, i never felt that i was being overlooked or forgotten. He is meticulous in his preparation which is a godsend when you are dealing with an ex spouse who is manipulative and trying to find loop holes in the judicial system. There were days when i thought that my ex had beat the courts and it was only because of Richard's thorough approach to his profession that we were able to win.

Richard is the type of lawyer who will fight for you and represent you with the professionalism and dignity which we all deserve especially when going thru such trying and difficult times. Both he and his staff strive to get the best results for you. Just be honest and up front with them, and Richard will be the same with you. The difference with having Richard as your lawyer is that he truly cares about his clients, and I know this first hand. After going thru my divorce, Richard and his staff always treated me with dignity, respect and were professional towards me at all times. Never once did I feel that Richard doubted me or my case and he continued to fight for both me and my children. I can highly recommend Richard G. Startek Jr. as a divorce lawyer for anyone who wants a lawyer who really cares about his clients. Realize that divorce is a lengthy process and our court system moves at a snails pace, but Richard will continue to work for you - just trust him - I did and I WON!

Richard went far and beyond my expectations. He worked effortlessly around christmas holidays to get a father his rights too see his children. I can't say enough about Richard and his staff. They were polite and accommodating in a very tough time. He knows his stuff and got me a very fair settlement. He's a straight shooter and gives you great advice on how to go about your specific situation. He was there when i needed him and answered any questions i had. I also dealt with Kelly his assistant who was also great. As a father in this type of situation you feel helpless. Richard and his staff restored my hope and fought for me every step of the way. I never need to look for another lawyer. Richard Jr is my guy.

When I first went to Richard Jr. he told me he could help me and said what he could do for me. I was excited to get moving, as my case was time sensitive. I quickly learned that he is all talk, he took my money(and he's not cheap) and did not do a thing for me. He never returned any calls, did not do anything he said he would do unless I got angry at him and just showed up at his office unannounced. This was something that was very important to me, and he doesn't care enough to actually work for you like he says he will. He just added to the stress of what I was already going through. He is just full of excuses.I have since moved on to another lawyer and am happy with the progress, as this lawyer is very reliable. Do not make the mistake of hiring this lawyer if you want results.

I am so grateful to have found Richard Jr. He was my Lawyer for over two years during the most difficult time in my life. He was always looking out for me and my kids, yes he doesn't return calls or emails but when you need him he is there for you 150%. I would and will always have Richard as my Lawyer would never go anywhere else.

Its hard to find a lawyer who truly cares about his client as Richard Jr. does. I will be eternally grateful for his kindness and understanding during the most difficult time of my life. When my ex refused to pay me, Richard would not take any money from me as he knew I had children to feed, so anyone who complains about this guy doesn't deserve to be represented by him. I really hope he is nominated to be a judge one day. A smart lawyer with a heart is a needle in a haystack. Im sure his job is not easy and we all have to understand lawyers are not supermen/women. I will continue to use this office for any legal matters in the future

After dealing with Richard for family law, wills, and real estate over a 6 month period, I found him to be personable and caring with great knowledge and professionalism. His staff were also outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Had a wonderful experience at a very difficult time. Mr. Startek Jr was knowledgable and fought hard for what I was entitled to. He guided me with honest professionalism the whole time. His staff that I dealt with were wonderful. I would recommend this lawyer to anyone who needs a strong advocate.

Richard was fantastic. He met with my wife and I and allayed our fears quickly. We were given all the time we needed to explain ourselves, never feeling rushed or ignored. Richard followed up on every communication and helped us in every facet of the proceedings. He was professional in all of his dealings with us and we could not have been happier with the outcome. It was better than we could have hoped for and we would happily refer his firm and Richard in particular, to anyone needing an articulate, intelligent lawyer as well as a thoughtful, understanding listener. Richard took a traumatic and potentially devastating situation and made it not only bearable, but ultimately far less frightening for my wife and I.

As previously stated by other reviewers and to sum things up, he is useless. Never returns phone calls or emails. When I did catch him in his office, he always had an excuse. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Same thing here, calls and emails not returned. Sent another lawyer in his place for court. Took calls while I was in his office then rushed me out the door. Very high priced with nothing done in return....big mistake putting so much of my life in his hands

I have only met this man once,sounded like he could really help me out.I thought great.He told me to call him back which I have many times.He has yet to answer my calls.If he has no time to answer calls then I have no time for him.I'll find someone else.
