I was told that one of the Buchanans would take care of me cause I have many health problems and with one being not fully understanding questions well we made it to the hearing and I had some guy named Tim and he never spoke up for me or anything so I lost he appealed it for me and I got denied and be then they say I don't have work credits because by time anything got done it took 5 years so I guess you loose everything in that amount of time. So now me and my husband are in a fincial bind cause I can't work and help like I did before I got sick and when it was all said and done all this firm was worried about was their money so that they don't get paid unless you do is very WRONG they can care less about you and your family so I can thank them for alot of my troubles so in my eyes if I had it to do over I would have never ask them to help me

Asked this office if they would handle my case ,took medical information and said they would contact me in 5-7 days . Three weeks later I called them to be told they wouldn't handle the case ,very unprofessional can't even make a phone call !

After they got my medical records and a year in to talking with office staff and not a lawyer they tell me they didn't think they could help me. When I asked why the office lady said they don't tell them why just a yes or no. If the answer is no a lawyer should talk to you about that not their Secretary! They have had some info for a while and could have said something sooner. After seeing reviews I can see why they are not reputable. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!!!

I am waiting for an answer from the appeals council. This is nearing year 4. During this time I have gone to the specialist that the judge in my second hearing had suggested. The firm says they've seen no fax, though I watched my dr fax the papers.I pray every night that Dale BuBuchanan's staff is doing all they can.I now have no car,. No phone, and no home. We are sorry that this claimant was unhappy with her favorable decision. We try hundreds of cases each year and receive many favorable decisions. Social Security has hundreds of judges who all have different procedures on hearing cases. Some judges want you to ask questions and some don't want you to ask anything. We always submit all of the evidence as it is required by regulation. It would have been more helpful in my response if I could review this case but I under stand why this claimant wanted to remain anonymous. I wish the claimant well. Richard W. Gordon, General Counsel

Update to comment dated 12/18/13. After I was denied by the judge, my lawyer finally submitted my physical capacity eval. (PCE), which was conveniently left out when submitting all my records. At this point my case went into remand, meaning Buchanan would receive 25% of my back pay. Their office said they couldn't even find my PCE. It took me a 2 minute phone call to Siskins medical records to find it, have copies made and took them to their office where they could submit to the judge. After reading the PCE report, the judge approved my disability. Actually it's the judge who determines your lawyers fee. My judge was aware what happened, but i sent her a letter any way, going into more depth. Instead of awarding Buchanan 25% of my back pay, which came close to $9000.00, she awarded them $1335.00. I was absolutely thrilled. It wasn't until i got my denial letter that i realized they had not sent in the PCE, even though they said they had. Don't let them do to you what they did to me!

Hired buchanan and ass. 3 years ago. Never met a real lawyer just a paralegal named amanda. Never spoke to a lawyer or anything. Now ive been denied. Again. And they want me to pay them for services rendered. Im devistated. They want me to pay for nothing. I may counter sue for negligence. I just wasted 3 years for nothing.

Don't wait til your hearing to meet with your attorney request a face to face well in advance to go over your case and they will,if your not satisfied with the attorney you met with they will assign another one as I did.I requested that Mr.Buchanan himself represent me and he agreed to do so. Katherine Jenninings is the best paralegal by far I wish she had her law degree she is GREAT ! I recommend Mr.Buchanan 100% Again be pro active stay intouch with them follow up with your doctor to make sure files have been sent to the attorney and most important be sure your doctor is willing to back you.Without your doctor's support your attorney has a huge up hill battle.I waited almost 5 years after becoming disabled to file because I didn't want to be dependendt or shuld I say on the govt. tit. so its making it harder for me but I have 100% backing from my doctor and from Mr.Buchanan himself so I do feel confident.So befrore bashing this law firm look at how you approached your case.

Wasted 3 yrs. of my life with these crooks after getting denied 3 or 4 times they still called and tried to get me to let them appeal it again. I told them I was going to appeal it again but not with them and hung up. The next day I received a letter from them telling me they no longer wanted to represent me and I should seek help elsewhere and that I owed them $43 for money they spent on my case !!! I have received 3 bills so far and one certified letter for that $43 in one week for them wasting 3 yrs. of my life !!! I'm reporting them too the board of Professional Responsibility and the B.B.B and would suggest other clients do the same !!!

I hired this law firm 4 yrs ago and I'm still not approved!! I went to the hearing and the Atty just say by her an looking at me like I was stupid, I had 5 min prior to the hearing starting to speak with the legal asst! The Atty I had had quit twice so I'm now on the 3rd legal asst with my health its impossible for me to work Drbhas told me no several times , I can't stand for but a few min, let alone several other issues , getting a phone call back is like breaking a leg .. Emails don't get returned .. I'm not happy with this law firm what soever .. I'm now waiting on the appeals council for their decision , really having a hard time with this firm . if I had to do it over again I would of got my dog to represent me!!

If you're thinking about hiring this firm for your disability case, run and run quickly away from Dale Buchanan & Assoc. I wish i had known then what i know now about this firm. I had been turned down twice before i hired them. Nine months after hiring them i had my disability hearing. They didn't even start to get all my medical records until they were notified of my court case and then told me they had them all when they didn't. The attorney they sent to represent me i had never met before and then just sat there and never said a word during my hearing. After getting my letter stating that i was denied again is when i found out they didn't have all my medical records. I had to physically go and get them and take them to their office. They have told me they have resubmitted all my records and we're now waitingon a remand hearing. That was 15 months ago and i'm still waiting. I think monkey's in a zoo could represent better than this firm does....RUN !

I had already been turned down twice. I went into the office and they accepted my case. They told me that if they did not think they would win the case.. they wouldnt take the case. Several months later I did win. They treated me like family. I was so about to give up. I had no insurance..and my health was really bad. They were simply awesome!

went to hearing and that was the first time I met the lawyer,he did not go over anything with me or even tell me what to expect.When we were in the court room,he just sat there and didnt say anything.This blew my mind,I was on my own.I would not recommend this firm to anyone.My disability was denied.A waste of 2 years of my life.Do Not Go There.

I always have to call them and they keep telling me it will be a couple of more months over and over. I pray I don't lose my case. I have no money for rent food will be homeless soon have no more options and they don't care!

I hired the Dale Buchanan firm to handle my S.S. Disability case. When we went in front of the judge for my hearing, the judge was very harsh, and pummeled me with questions while my attorney just sat there. He was no help whatsoever. I could have done just as well without an attorney. We I would call thier office, the legal asst. that was working on my case was always very rude, and would take her 20 minutes just to figure out who I was. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM FOR YOUR DISABILITY CASE!!!! IF, (I still dont know) if I will be awarded Disability or not, if I had a choice, I wouldnt give these guys a damn dime. I am still furious about the "attorney" that they sent to my hearing.

have a bad experience with this firm thay will contact you back if one attorney no one ealse @ furm can help[ example home was in forcolsure and had 10 day for them to send documents to finase company to reaccess status attorney had flew furm couldnt find forclures papers i sent them after thay did sent a hand writen letter to finance company] im out of work and disabled and didnt get proper papers because attorney HAD FLEW NEVER RETURNES PHONE CALLS OR E MAILS 5 AND 1HF YRS STILL WATEING BUT THAY PROISED JUST WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH ME TOMORROW LAWYER OFF TODAY YOU THINK!!
