went for an initial interview. My lawyer who I later fired was colluding with opposing counsel and she agreed with his position to accept a completely unfair and unsustainable settlement. Hiring her was unthinkable and I later found a professional who save me a ton of money. Run, do not walk away from this hack.

Ms. Dixon was extremely professional and welcoming, which was quite refreshing. She was exceptional; explained each step, addressed my questions and kept me informed throughout the process while fighting for what was right for me with passion. She has always acted in my best interest, ensuring that the settlement I received was fair. Undoubtedly, i would recommend her to my friends and family.

Susan was my lawyer 2007 for my separation from my controlling husband, but more for the custody of my son. Susan was not only a hands on, compassionate and friend to me at that time doing this by myself she got myself and my son the life we wanted with her hard work.

She represented my ex. Best thing that ever happened to me. At the court house she would wonder around asking other lawyers what she should do. She did not know basic court procedures. She was incomprehensible to the judge. In the end and after a very favourable settlement for me, my lawyer advised,"if you ever become friendly again with your ex, tell her to sue Susan Dixon". Thank you Ms. Dixon.

if you have a simple case, perhaps she is fine. If not, be prepared to be dealt with aggressively by her. She will give you a hard time to get a chance to talk, will cut you off all the time. Franky I thought I was fighting 2 women, my ex and this lawyer. For instance, you would not believe me, a few time while I was on the phone with her, as she would speak, once in a while I would say "yes", "yes", as a normal conversation goes. She would tell me "don't interrupt me when I am talking", to which I would reply, "I did not, I just said-yes, so you know I am still on line". My coworker listening to my conversation thought she was nuts. It was supposed to cost me max 12K, but cost 33K. I am very friendly and kind person, but could not understand the deep aggression in her towards me. Several friends later asked me about a lawyer, I asked them to stay away from her. I don't understand what the hell this industry does to these people. They become heartless money making machines.

I was extremely happy to have Susan represent me. She understood what I felt and what I wanted to express when I couldn't during the worst time of my life. She fought for my rights during times I was ready to give up. She stood up to my ex and her lawyer in a way that made me proud to have her beside me and yet still have the professionalism to maintain a relationship that would allow for continued discussion (especially important when confrontation could lead to a longer process and greater costs). Her experience was invaluable during the entire process. It was comforting to know that if we had to go to court, that was an area of specialty. I would highly recommend Susan.

I have found Ms Dixon to be tremendously helpful, committed and tenacious in every way. She is totally dedicated to her profession and her clients. Her ethics are beyond reproach. I absolutely recommend her if you need someone on your side to negotiate or mediate a difficult situation. I give her a 5 star rating for all the help she has given me. The only drawback I find is that she is so busy as a lawyer that goes to court for her clients that sometimes communication lags but she always catches up and carries on with the matter at hand.

i interviewed two other lawyers before meeting with susan.within minutes of speaking with her - i felt positive in the choice to have her represent me during the most difficult time of my life.susan is both compasionate and tough.what i appreciated most was that she was respectful of my time and my financial situation.i would not hesitate to recommend susan.she is the reason that i have been able to bring closure to a painful situation and begin a new chapter in my life.thank you susan!

Susan worked hard for me when things were very difficult, and especially when my ex was not listening even to his own lawyer. She gave good advice, was tough when needed, and most importantly, never made me feel inadequate or stupid. I highly recommend her. In the end, I got what I asked for and needed.

I love the fact that her consultation rate is not her hourly rate and is REASONABLE. It gave me the chance to meet with her and not feel gorged by high hourly fees. As it turned out, I like her and would definitely retain her.
