Mr Putnam has kept us in the dark for almost a year in regards to a probate case. He refuses to communicate via email, doesn't return phone calls, and when he does, he side steps the questions I've asked. Several times I have requested a bill in an attempt to pay him off and find someone else. I do not have him on retainer, he just asks me for money periodically (very strange). He is frustrating to deal with and has an unpleasant attitude, to put it nicely. I have had dealings with other attorneys who communicate with me monthly. They send me detailed bills even if I owe no money. Periodically, they call me to update me on my case. This is what I expect someone who is working for me to do. For an attorney, I also expect advice. I've had to turn to the internet to get answers to my questions and I've learned that I have made several huge mistakes in regards to the estate. I was told that probate would be a quick and easy process, but so far, it's been the most frustrating ordeal.
