Julie was previously a Judge in Juvenile Court so one would think she was well versed in Family Law. Nothing could be further from the truth. One of her most costly errors was she failed to file a change of circumstance petition which another attorney said was crucial and that I had repeatedly asked her to file. She continued for six months to say it wasn’t necessary. It turns out her error cost me over $7000. The icing on the cake: the firm charged me for the phone call I requested with Steve Fillenwarth to complain about the negligent representation. Julie was soon no longer working at the firm. Steve Fillenwarth did not admit the many proven errors and actual lies. Instead he charged me which I have vehemently disputed. I am not someone who dislikes attorneys. I have never had a bad experience until hiring Fillenwarth and Assocites.
