He is disorganized, egotistical, preys on his clients fears, insists on unncessary work, his staff is weak, work quality is marginal, and keeps his clients in the dark. He won't answer basic questions with straight answers all in order to create uncertainty and justify more billable hours. He calls for random unnecessary meetings, including several staff members to pump his billable hours. His fees are grossly excessive and overbills for everything for marginal work. My ex-wife's lawyer ran rings around him during mediation. He spent more time advocating for himself vs fighting for me. The best day ever was when I fired him. Avoid this lawyer at all costs...... his is what bottomline awful and a fee scammer

I was completely blown away as to how this man was able to practice law. All he did was talk about his travels, his knowledge, his superiority in life, his adventures, his greatness, all the while billing me by the minute. After I was smart enough to go elsewhere, I was relieved to see him not practicing law, but it now appears he's in practice again. Please, please beware.

likes to create alot of turmoil and controversy in order to bill . Knowledge of the law is very poor, litigation skills and common sense are just not there. He is better suited for a job where he has little interaction with people

Edwin Flak is a superb lawyer who has worked tirelessly toward finding creative solutions for our custody, access and support issues. He rescued my children from a very difficult access conflict more than 10 years ago, so I am relying on him again in a contentious child support case. Edwin Flak and his staff were extraordinarily helpful not only with legal matters and negotiations but also by providing help with financial issues that went far beyond what I would have expected from a law firm. Although it was an expensive and long process, I have a Separation Agreement that protects me and my child. I truly cannot imagine another lawyer having the commitment and knowledge to have gotten through my situation, plus the ongoing support.

I was facing very serious financial and professional problems because of Court orders that had been awarded against me that were impossible to comply with because my previous counsel had failed to communicate my financial position to the Court. As a result I was on the brink of bsankruptcy but at the last minute was referred to Mr Flak. To say that he was my white knight would be an understatement. He was able to restore my standing before the Court and ultimately to obtain a settlement that was workable and fair to all parties. ive had flak represent me in the past. A good lawyer. He will destroy opposition he is ruthless and wont let anything or anyone stand in his way. once he gains momentum look out he gets the job done. However his act cost lots of money. if you could afford his prices go for it. He will destroy no question about that.

OVERBILLS, OVERCHARGES, OVERCONFIDENT, does not produce air-tight orders for FRO therefore not knowledgeable for FRO, overproduce documents = $$$$ for him,allows other side to keep putting off delivering of documents he has requested & doesn't move on it for court but writes letters and reviews and reviews his review.

I have had legal problems with my highly educated, very vengeful ex-spouse for over 20 years. Mr. Flak protected my interests on several occasions through those difficult years.
