Extremely unprofessional, and unqualified. DO NOT hire her if you want any chance at a fair fight in court. She never returns calls, or sends paperwork, and can't even prepare for trial, not to mention the absolute joke she made of trial. Unfortunately I found out too late. I have spoken with other lawyers from Hamilton and her former boss, who are aware of her personal issues (addiction). I wouldn't care, except it clearly has an impact on her level of professionalism. If you want any chance at a fair shot in court, hire somebody else. Even legal aid or duty counsel is far superior than Fiona. I am currently in the process of reporting her to the Law Society of Canada. I would hate to see anyone else go through the struggles, and bullsh*t this person put me and my family through. PLEASE, learn from my mistake and do not hire this "lawyer". Even if you are in a bind and can't find someone else (which is what happened to me) STAY AWAY from Fiona Wotherspoon at all costs!
