I can't imagine a better demonstration of the value of experience than was shown in the counsel and legal defense Al Messer provided to me and my family. We came to him facing a situation that to us was outlandish, frightening, and infuriating -- but it was one he'd seen dozens of times and he knew exactly how to handle my case. Al was unfailingly forthright in giving us a realistic sense of the prospects and risks present at each stage of the process, and in the end was able to deliver the outcome -- complete exoneration -- I needed to move on with my life. I contacted Mr. Messer on the recommendation of a friend. From the beginning, I was treated with respect and made to feel my case was important. I was very impressed with his grasp of the facts and his evaluation of the situation. I would recommend Mr. Messer one hundred times over. He worked diligently on my husband's case and his legal assistant, Sara, was truly a rock for me during our ordeal. It is more than evident that this law firm truly cares about their clients. We never felt like just a number or just another case. Al Messer is really a great attorney. I was so frustrated at the length of time my case took, but in the long run it all worked out for the best. Mr. Messer takes his time with his clients, doesn't rush, and does his homework to get you the best possible results . I would use him for all my legal matters.

Al Messer and Kate Collins are the best team to contact if you need an attorney. I recently had my felony case dismissed and my record of this arrest is being expunged. This was a difficult time in my life and Al's firm made it much less painful. He knew I was innocent and wouldn't let me ruin my name and life by giving up. He has the confidence, tenacity, experience, and loyalty to his clients that every attorney should learn from. I was charged by a former employer with 5 felonies, all of which I did not commit. Al gathered evidence and knew this was a bogus charge/case. He fought for me and had this dismissed, and now my record is being expunged. I have one piece of advice...if you find yourself in a situation, whether your guilty or not....CALL MESSER LAW FIRM. Kate and Al will guide you and offer the best defense in North Carolina!!!! I hired Attorney Al Messer for my DUI case and my only regret is I didn't call him the minute I was arrested.
Mr. Messer and his assistant Kate helped me through the process and helped me with everything from court appearances to dealing with the DMV. Mr. Messer got my fees reduces and his fees were much less than I was told to expect from others.
Don't drink and drive - but if this happens to you, I highly recommend you hire Mr. Messer to represent you.

Mr Messer worked hard for me and made me feel better about the situation I was in. He worked magic on my case. Never made me feel judged. He and staff kept me informed and I would use them again. A couple of my friends said hes the best in town.

After Charging an exorbitant amount, he never returns my phone calls or emails, and when I try to contact him by phone, his assistant always makes me feel like an idiot, so I am discouraged to keep trying. I have never been so frustrated or upset as by how his firm has treated me.
