Over billing, lying, and making false accusations. Mr. Puff takes advantage of the elderly and is nothing short of a con man. He is a bully that believes the average person is ignorant about the law. Anyone with a brain can read case law, and unless you are going to jail, there is no need for an overpriced mouth piece.

Mr Puff won a very difficult guardianship battle for me. Jeff is intensely professional and concentrates on his case. He does not care for unnecessary information or social graces. The man loves to win. His focus is on winning. He does want to make money for both you and him. He is tough and often feared by the opposition counsel. He is backed up by a great staff of people, as well.

I recommended Mr. Puff to a friend who was injured on the job as a result of negligence on the part of a hotel maintenance group. It happened out of state, and she had no idea where to begin the process of filing suit against the hotel. I thought the hometown practice of Puff & Cockerill would take good care of her case. Mr. Puff has been very attentive to every detail of the case. Although my friend still suffers from her injuries, she has often expressed gratitude to me for recommending Mr. Puff and his staff to guide her through the complicated legal experience. She feels confident that she will get retribution because of the professionalism that the Puff team has shown in the case. I will never hesitate to recommend this firm and Mr. Puff especially.

Went to bat for me in a frivolous lawsuit. Defended me in an aggressive and extremely sensitive and competent fashion. I was more than happy with the representation Jeffrey Puff provided to me and wish that there were more people in the world like him. I hope you never need a lawyer, but if you do, Puff is the man for the job.

Mr. Puff is all about the money and could care less about you, his client. He is more concerned with showing of his office to the other sides attorney then providing you with honest up front answers! Beware overpriced, over billing and procrastination!

I have been with Mr. Puff for many years. He is direct, fair, and hardworking. I think what sets him apart is how thoroughly he prepares for any case. It might make his bill a little larger than that of a less competent lawyer but his charges are fair and well-documented and he wins nearly all of his cases. I have never lost with him. He is a topnotch lawyer and earns his fees. Remember, you get what you pay for.

I have to completely disagree with the previous comments. Mr. Puff set up an LLC for me in one day and did it for less than half as much other people wanted. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. In fact he seemed right to the point and didn't want to waste any time, he understood what I needed and got it done so quickly I was shocked. I have used him several times since for wills,trusts,an inheritance issue and have always been immensley pleased. I would go back to that firm in a hearbeat. Also his associates seemed just as intelligent and helpful. Who would expect every little nuiance to be taken care of the by the attorney anyway? This is a great law firm.

Pompous & condescending attitude; although he tries to portray competence, I question his real abilities as a lawyer; draws matters out, well in excess of normal time limits; difficult to work with; awful, just awful.

Takes your money and gives work to associates who do no work and produce nothing for alot of money. Fraudulent billing and they make back door deals with opposing counsel without the consent of client.
