I would not recommend the GAL for anyone dealing with domestic-violence has a history of claiming domestic-violence is mutual when it's a known domestic-violence myth. Ignores clear evidence of child abuse, has lied under oath. Is extremely bias and unprofessional. She's extremely toxic. Like many other people have already stated she doesn't actually speak to the kids and she will fabricate reports towards which ever party she favors or lawyer she favors. Will ignore blatant history of patterns of litigation abuse and stalking. History of victim blaming the victim. Like to manipulate and bully other professionals into agreeing to her perspective even if it's not based in objective reality or facts. She is the prime example of a Bad GAL in family court shes in it for herself as a because she couldnt hack it even as mediocre attorney. RUN DONT WALK FROM THIS GAL and petition to remove her as asap.

Beyond horrible she was hired as GLA on my child custody case but the father didn’t pay his portion of the GLA cost I paid the 900 and when she was taken off the case she still billed 111.00 dollars claiming to have worked on the case even though she did nothing to work on the case. As well even though she received half of the retainer she never showed to court or to any hearings but yet still billed me for services she didn’t do.

If you are the father in a custody battle expect no help from this GAL, please find a substitute ASAP as this individual personally undermined my case. Her testimony ultimately lead to me losing my son. The other reviews regarding her siding with the mother are true, do NOT have her as your Guardian Ad Litem, you have been warned. Save your children! ??

Best thing we did for our child was ask for a GAL and Anne was amazing...met with the child, teachers, counselor, us and tried to meet with defendant but was reused access. Other side was ordered to pay half of retainer but never did and claimed she was biased against her and even tried to tell the child not to talk to her. Anne clearly putting in work to find out what was best for our child and she was a huge blessing. She worked her tail off to do her research. Both sides were given opportunities to meet in their homes with her. She sees when a child Would definitely recommend her again and again!

Ms. Scott was hired by opposing Counsel to represent our child due to wanting to live with me. When Ms. Scott was hired I asked her about setting up a time to come to my house & meet with my wife, child & myself. She said not to worry about that. She met with us at court & that has been the only time I've spoke with her. I've emailed things my child has sent me, forwarded emails my ex has sent me & have made numerous attempts to set up a meeting. The only response I've ever received is an okay or thank you. I found out recently from an invoice that she met with my child at my ex's house but still nothing regarding coming to our house. She doesn't return calls, is very one sided, isn't very professional & only hears what she wants to. I would have given a lower rating if I could. All the negative reviews are spot on for her behavior. Do your best to dispute having her on ANY case.

I would have never hired her based on my personal experience but she was hired by opposing attorney. She is very unprofessional with childish behavior! This woman can’t be trusted, she very dangerous to the safety and lively hood of your child. She Took my information and used it against my child and I ( the victims). She never met child after 5 months of physical and sexual abuse case with Substantiated evidence. She does not have child best interest at heart! Whatever you do please do not hire her trust me! Please – she never even talked to my child on the phone!

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES!! allow Anne Scott to represent you or act as a Guardian Ad Litem in your case. I come from a family of attorneys and have been in and out of the court room and have never seen an attorney so inept, unprofessional and, while acting as a Guardian Ad Litem, unbelievable rogue and bias. I witnessed her act as a Guardian Ad Litem in a case recently. Her job was to advocate for the best interests of the children caught in the divorce. Due diligence would require meet with parties involved, do research. None of this was done. Instead she met with both parents, decided which one she liked better personally and fabricated a report that supported that parent. Almost her entire report was dictated to her by the parent she favored and contained numerous lies and false accusations. In court she was required to amend her report on multiple occasions when witnesses began calling out her report as inaccurate, dishonest or just completely fabricated. DO NOT HIRE HER!!!

Anne Scott has went completely rogue from the oath that she took as an attorney! This woman has been involved with the custody case concerning my 2 children for 3 years now. The role she was assigned to was "Guardian Ad Lidum," but she has been absolutely no advecate 4 my children! She has only talked to them on one occasion over the past 3 yrs. Instead of representing their best interest & wishes, or even attempting to mediate & find a way 4 both parents to stay involved in the kids' lives, she simply takes whatever info she chooses to believe w/out any proof thereof, walks into court, & echos these lies to an unsuspecting judge who believes that she has the children's "best interest" at heart! She is lazy, unethical, never returns correspondence & lies 2the judge without hesitation. Because my ex had her eating out of his hand, he even hired her thru private practice 2 cont. the case after she was dismissed from the public defender's office! Seems like a conflict of interest 2 me!

She does not have the clients best intest at heart, just her own. if shed doesn't want to deal with a situation after she couldnt manipulate your into doings what you want, she just wont showing up at all. Even though it's costing the other cliwnts $200 an hour. Even will have others lie on her behalf. Even if it' mean s putting children at risk from a pedifile

I've had the oppptunity to work with the attorney and have found her to be objective and unwaivering in court as it pertains to family law and the specific needs of the children. She did require for me to have all my ducks in a row as without that in place you merely learn to react to the consequences of one's own preparation efforts. I would definitely recommend her as she is solid and very present in the moment and task at hand. A +++

She doesn't listen to her clients. She doesn't fight for her clients rights. She doesn't get her facts straight. She doesn't stay in contact with her clients. She associates with the other side outside of court. She can't be trusted. She stabs her clients in the back. She lies under oath. She will twist what her client say to make them sound bad.
