Though shes now deceased, she was a terrible human being. a liar, lacked compassion, integrity and was only interested in having clients pay money. didn't care about families, who she hurt, what she did as long as she created work to make money. hate to speak ill of the dead but the world is better off without her.

Do not loose you money with this lawyer . She don't care about u . She only want you pay a lot money for papers.if you don't pay she will quit your case . After u done with the marriage. If u still own money she will retained yours paper.... I lost $15.000 in paper and no won anything. My husband won everything with that cheap lawyer.

the lawyers really are the perpetuaters of the post divorce strife. keeping you at odds benefits both judges and lawyers i would have stayed miserably married. there is no freedom when the "law" does only what it feels is important you no longer have any rights. just bend over

This attorney is only out to get as much money as she can pocket herself! She removed herself from my case mid divorce because I refused to pay $12000 additional to her staff forensic accountant. She "recommended" someone several times and I declined. She then put me in a conference room with the individual to pressure me. I , again, declined. Upon my first consult with Ms. Fixel she advised me (in reference to my soon to be ex husband)to "go after his balls" and "we will ask for EVERYTHING and then take what we want and leave him with nothing". I was extremely frustrated with her lack of interest in me and my children and getting me what was necessary to care for them after being a stay at home mother for nearly a decade- She was only out for herself and when she knew I was not interested in making her more money she filed to be removed as my atty. Eventually I had to replace her and my divorce went through. I wonder how many clients she has done this to and how the court allows it?

Same experience as the previous reviewers. Talks to me in a condescending tone, did not have time to answer my questions. It felt like she is doing me a favor despite being fully compensated for her time.

Terry Fixel was recommended to me as a good lawyer who is a fighter. I found the complete opposite. I found her to be money hungry and dragged the case on with no end in sight. She was not pro-active and had no desire to settle case. She needs to learn how to talk to her clients and not to speak to them in a condescending manner. I believe she also doesn't keep up with her client files or at least she did not in my case. I would definitely reccomend using another attorney.

Claims to be a fighter, but truth is she's weak and is out take the most money she can and then tells you it's better to settle, bottom line I have been to many lawyers and the truth is, settling your case is better than litigation ...so if push comes to shove settle and don't give her or any other lawyers money, not worth it
