I am afraid to tally my bills but after 21 months I know its over 60k. Throws her staff under the bus. Anymore than 1 email a week will get you yelled at. Emails when finally returned are usually 7 am or 10 pm on weekends. Moved without explanation Protection. Order hearings to a Master instead of doing her job of getting PO set aside. She dresses well and has a nice new 22nd floor setup at 201 Portage. I am seriously working on a Complaint Help Form with Law Society. Join me kamstml@shaw.ca

This is a terrible lawyer. Please report her to the Law Society if you feel she's over charged you or has misrepresented you or has not followed the code of ethics all lawyer should practice. This lawyer should be reprimanded. She is also a partner of this firm which tells you how they operate. Stay away from this firm let alone this woman. I had my dealings with her and I can assure you she was very dishonest to the point that I would not speak or say anything to her unless it was on the record in front of a judge. Do not trust her. This particular lawyer is what gives other lawyers a bad name. Seriously report her to the Law Society if she has wronged you or you feel that she has not followed the protocol. Don't let her get away with it. She needs to be reprimanded

All talk and absolutely no action! After $20k I had to walk away from this incompetent lawyer. Her assistant was the same and needs a lesson on the basic workings of MS Office, not to mention spelling and grammar.

I have to warn people reading these reviews, the positive review of Kim below was written by Kim herself. I made fun of her rating here to one of her clients, then the next business day she magically receives a perfect score with a review that tries to discredit these reviews. So far she has been incredibly costly and focuses on being rude so she can appear powerful to her client. Given the other reviews here perhaps Kim should focus her time on being a better lawyer instead of writing fake reviews. Embarrassing.

I came to Kim seeking help for a custody case. She informed me in detail of court requirements, costs involved etc... she took notes and asked me very specific questions. She was attentive to the situation, completely. It's sad to read the comments on here of her as most people don't write about the good they only write about the bad. She is great at what she does and does it the job done!

At your first meeting this lawyer has you believing everything is in good hands but don't believe her. She is not to be trusted and on more than one occasion, revealed confidences that we had asked be kept confidential to the other lawyer. On two occasions we even received material with another clients name, breaking their confidentiality. The only thing she is good at is eating up your cash!

$63,271 later I had to get a new lawyer as Kim repeatedly dropped the ball. I almost lost custody of my children because of her negligence. Stay away!

Buyer beware!, How she is a partner at Taylor McCaffrey is beyond me. Kim, talked a great game and made promises she couldn't keep and as you can see a trend here, filed senseless motions that cost me thousands unnecessarily. Find another lawyer before it's too late.

Found Kim to be easy to speak with she gave me advise that was right to the point. She takes all pieces of the information into consideration. Would highly recommend her!

Went to Taylor McCaffrey with high recommendations. Unfortunately the lawyer we requested wasn't taking new clients, we were then recommend by the firm to use lawyer Kim Antonio. We read her reviews on line which were not good, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.
We entered into this knowing it would cost us money, but expected to have a professional lawyer that would look after our best interests. This was not the case. After spending over $10,000.00 and countless months of back and forth with her, we cancelled our service with her. It wasn't until this time that we learned she wasn't communicating with the other lawyer dragging things on in the case and when I confronted her on this she stated "it's for your protection". We feel that this was done to retain more work from us.
We ended up representing ourselves and within months it was over. We had 8 months with her "on the case" with absolutely nothing accomplished.
Very disappointed and dissatisfied
