Do not hire this lawyer if you wish a thorough job to be done. Mr Shapiro is only interested in procuring your funds and providing the bare minimum of work. He is highly manipulative and will play on a clients ignorance of the substance of the law by spouting superficial legal jargon to seem as if he is deeply immersed in your case. Also, once he has your money, he becomes impossible to contact. He put no time into the prep work for my trial and just winged it, missing the crucial evidence and contradictions from government witnesses that would have proved my innocence. Your money would be better spent thrown into a flame pit than in this guy's pocket.
