What a lousy lawyer. Never returns calls, bumbles up paperwork and hints about needing more money. Guess, he just can't make it...he's washed up, money grubber, can't make it to court on time, or to court at all...

He has astronomical fees for services never rendered. He is not sincere and has issues with reality and confidentiality. In my opinion, he is not to be trusted and should quit the profession.

Richard Covell is the Lawyer you need on your side if you are having a conflict in settling estate issues .I reveiwed my case with many other lawerers in BC , Richard Covell was the lawyer another lawyer recomended due to the complexity of my case and Richards impecible track record . His common law wife also holds a law degree and is a increadable assistant for him . And unlike most lawyers his charge out rate for her sevice is a fraction what his rate is . I have actually hired Richard Covell and highly recomend him and his team . From the comments of the others with low ratings of Richard on this site its most likly they did not have Richard Covell as their lawyer .

Covell tried to pass off his legal assistant to the Master as and accounting expert in which she has no expertise. the master was having none of it. but I'm sure he will bill for it. As it turns out his assistant / expert is his common law wife!!! Talk about double billing !! If you want to part with your hard earned money this is the guy to separate you from you cash.

Should quit the profession! Does not follow through with what he says he will do when you need it the most.

Anyone complaining about this guy must have been on the "losing" side of a court case! He's done right by me big-time - he's no nonsense, fair and ethical.
