You decided if he is honest - I attended a "free" consultation for a divorce and ended up giving him a $500 retainer but did I did not sign anything. I also did not give him enough info to create the divorce papers. A few days later, I cancelled his services and asked for a refund. He sent me $62 back saying the rest was for his "services". He sent me a generic dissolution of marriage paper which probably took him 10 minutes to do on his computer but he charged for 1/1/2 hrs of his services at $250/hr. In the initial consultation, the only "fee" he told me about was a flat fee for $1,000 plus court costs. So you tell me if he is a fair, honest attorney
