Heather Borlase took a $3,000 retainer from me in a discrimination case and then failed to fulfill any promise she made, billing me regularly until the funds were gone. Never interviewed a witness, never presented any signs of legal research except her bill. A very dishonorable person. I won my case with another attorney working on contingency.

These attorneys do not tell you until they get ready to start litigation how much the entire fee will be. They start out at one number then it increases to another greater number. They say they will send you a monthly invoice and they never do. They want you to pay everything up front. They get theirs while you have to wait for yours and continue to pay for everything. When they first quoted me a price it was 3,000.00 then when it was time for ligitation it went to 15,000.00. They are not truthful.
