I did not choose this attorney but was forced to use her for a QDRO relating to my pension and annuity funds. Amy Fixsen was given guidelines on how to draw up a QDRO in accordance to the carpenters annuity fund guidelines. This attorney supposedly does QDROs all the time. Once submitted, the QDRO was found not to be within the guidelines so it was returned. To date, no one knows where she or the QDRO is… She cashed my check in November of 2009 and it is the middle of February 2010! I and my attorney have placed numerous calls to her to no avail. I am a single mother of three that was laid off recently and even that voicemail did not encourage her to do the right thing. Very unprofessional.
