He charged me 5,000.00 retainer fee and has done absolutely nothing. Won't answer calls, emails or nothing. I was ordered to pay child support and new nothing until it came out of my pay check (which is fine). He is worthless.

One sorry excuse for an attorney or even a business man for that matter. $5000 and not a thing accomplished . I had to hire another attorney to actually get something done. No one there will return a phone call ever......will not refund any of my retainer. Should not be allowed to practice do not hire this man!

In 1991 Mark was involved with a 17 year old girl while asst prosecutor. He gambled all the time. He rediculed professional colleagues, real know it all, former cop gone bad.

Do yourself a favor and save your money. This town is a network of "good ole' boys club"....they all help each other out. Save yourself the frustration and go to Champign/Urbana and get an attorney to get out of this network in vermillion county of taking as much money as they can by dragging things along. Mark is rude and hates for you to ask him questions because it exposes their antics of behind the scenes collaboration. Good Luck..and God Bless

he took our money($8000), didnt show up on time court, never returned phone calls, arrogant, not concered with his clients at all, never asked questions in court,doesnt answer the clients questions will not provide advice, famous statements: "SO WHAT?" "AND" YOUR FREAKIN ME OUT" and "DUDE", very unprofessional!! i would not recommend mark christoff to anyone! makes clients wonder what is going on with their case for months! Says he defends his clients when they are not guilty but gets pissed in court when you dont take a plea bargain(when your not guilty!) and he has to go to trial because then he actually might have to work!! instead of sitting in his office with his feet kicked up on his desk like he always does!! SO when we denied the plea bargain the next court date all charges dismissed! and this case went on for 3 YEARS It was quote "the oldest case the county had" and it was Growing a Beard! GOOD WORK MARK CHRISTOFF!! And i want my money back! THE HUDISON FAMILY

The only time he would do any thing for me was if I called or seen him. He kept inportant information from me when when the sale of the house was done. My husbands lawyer told me at the title place that the money was going to be kept in trust until we agred on the settlement of our bills. Christoff knew this 3 weeks in advance and we could of had this settled prior to signing the title of the house. When I went to see him after the signing I ask him why he had me blind sided and he said they sometimes do this. We went to court and it was filed on Jan 14th. I as supose to get half of my ex husbands pension. As of this date 2/16/10 nothing has been done to have it processed. I don't recomend him to anybody.
