This lawyer is brilliant. A n exceptional expert in criminal law. When he explains everything, he simplifies every complex issue, so it is clear and easy to understand. Whenever I called him he answered his cell phone or returned my call almost immediately. He was available to me to answer any question or to calm my worries. He knows every loophole, tactic, defense, and fights aggressively and relentlessly. He prepares, plans and is focused on the case. His prices are comparable to other good lawyers, but he does all the work himself, he doesn't have his juniors or students doing the case work. He is worth every penny. In life you get what you pay for. I was happy to pay his fee because I got what I needed. He came through for me in flying colours.

Arson endangering life. A house of worship burned down. People were in the building and needed hospitalization. CCTV at the location showed me, and cops got me to confess I was there. Everyone said my case is hopeless and I will need to go to jail. Yossi said he will try his best and figure out a solution. I never ended up going to jail.

Charges of IPV (Intimate Partner Violence) were won. I was out of the house for 14 months. I couldn't see my kids. I had no access to my house, which I paid for, my stuff, my space. I was visiting Toronto from the USA, with my former girlfriend. She freaked out on me. Cops arrested me for domestic partner violence and damaging her property plus threats. This lawyer did an incredible job representing me on a slew of criminal charges. My vindictive ex-wife reported that I was driving while intoxicated and purposely crashed the car into her. I was charged with a DUI and Domestic Violence (assault with weapon - the car). To top it off, she left a baggie of her weed in the car (I eat brownies but don't smoke it!), so I got charged for possession of the weed. Mr. SCHOCHET beat all the charged. He proved she was a liar and the judge even threatened to charge HER with perjury for lying under oath and Public Mischief for her false reports to police. I was so impressed with Mr. SCHOCHET"s work. It exceeded my expectations. He was a pleasure to deal with. Always available to discuss the case. From the minute I met him he took away my worries and gave me confidence that everything will be okay. His fees were fair and comparable to other quotes I was given and he seemed much more honest and caring. I was VERY impressed with hom. A good choice.
