I do not recommend this lawyer. I spent a lot of my hard earned money to retain and work with Anna Perry only to be turned over to another lawyer with no notice despite requesting an explanation numerous times. Eventually I had to spend more money on retaining another lawyer in another law firm.

Ms. Perry has a Parenting Coordinator "PC" practice on Vancouver Island. We were nervous about choosing for Victoria and Vancouver. So happy we chose Anna. Anna has been patient, excellent listener, does not shy away from being up front but fair. Anna provided solid practical advice and been effective from Day 1. No delays. No gaps. Attention to detail. Highly recommended.

Anna is this amazing one of a kind type of lawyer. She is companionate and carrying, she truly, truly look after the best interest of the children and your family as a whole. Anna is an amazing person and great lawyer. She was very sensitive and worked really hard on my overly conflicted custody and divorce case. She has been very patient and caring during the hard times I have gone through. She gave me hope when I was almost giving up. She answered all my questions right away even while it was not business day. She is detail oriented and a hard worker. There were days we worked together till late nights in order to be able to make all documents ready for court. I am very grateful that I met Anna and very thankful for all the hard work she had done for me and for my daughter.

Anna is a very experienced lawyer in family law. She is very detailed oriented and really internalizes the case. She is well versed in high conflict custody issues and has the ability to negotiate/mediate/arbitrate keeping the best interests of the child in mind while also protecting her clients. Anna genuinely cares about her clients as real human beings and not just a "file" or as $$$$. She would make an excellent parenting coordinator because of her vast knowledge and experience in family law. Even though she is always there to vouch for her clients she still tries to be fair to both parents, again keeping the best interests of the child in mind. She also has life experience as a mother who has raised 3 children - this is invaluable as a parenting coordinator to really understand the important issues and conflicts involved in coparenting.

Anna Perry is an amazing lawyer and person. She's very caring and takes her time to answer all of your questions. You never feel like you're on the clock with her and she's extremely thorough with her work. I was always scared of dealing with lawyers because I thought I'd be just watching the $$$ go up with every interaction but this was not the case. She is warm and has a huge heart, if you need a family lawyer then I suggest you at least call her up for an initial meeting.

Ending a marriage is obviously a painful and stressful experience. Add to that trying to find suitable representation and it's 10X worse. I met with many well known family lawyers. The consistent response to the complexity of my situation was to tell me they were going to require "premium" retainers yet the fact I was frozen out financially was the largest issue. So where did they think this increased retainer was going to come from? 18months later I met Anna and found hope. Anna truly connected with the humanness of my situation, the emotional toll it was taking on me and my children. Together we formulated a game plan that identified the most important issues and the approach that made the most sense financially given possible outcomes. I smile when I think of Anna; she's like a crime fighter out righting wrongs. She saw and felt the injustice of my ex's actions and wasn't going to let him get away with it (AND she hasn't). Best of all through her efforts I regained my sense of self.

My ex wife and family wanted to throw me out on the street, their attitude soon changed when Anna took over. They knew they were dealing with a tough and no nonsense lawyer. I was in agreement with the review Anna provided to me before commencing my case. It was a straight forward case, but one can never predict how the opposition will proceed. My case became lengthily and drawn out due to no fault of our own; Anna remainded very committed to the case - her hard work and continued efforts resolved the bulk of the issues to my contentment.
