This woman belittles you and is incredibly unprofessional and unethical. Disregards what her clients (the children) tell her if it doesn’t align with her agenda, which ultimately puts them at harm. My children are distraught and distrusting years later after working with her.

This woman is nothing more than a criminal. She broke every possible rule according to the NYS Ethics Guide for Law Guardians. Lied under oath to the Judge and misrepresented the children she is supposed to "zealously advocate for on their behalf". Met my kids for 45 minutes over 20 months - how would you possibly know anything about them? Never read any of the detailed emails in 20 months. Overbilled me for phone calls since she was appointed - phone records don't lie. Pay to play, collusion, bullying and ethics violations are the name of her game. Confront her with facts and she'll get angry, tuck tail and run. Grievances being filed and she needs to be held accountable and disbarred! She is the epitome of what's wrong with the Family Court System. Now she's being exposed... news outlets will have a field day!

worst lawyer ever. i am attorney and she broke the law over and over again when she represented my children. she went as far as to breach the client confidentiality on the record! to all of you parents that have been wronged by this woman, file a new york state grievance against her. she will get in trouble and hopefully lose her license to practice. Wow. What a disappointment. The court appointed Evie as my two younger children's legal guardian because my son no longer wished to live with his unstable mom and wished to live with me. I was so happy because I thought I was getting an impartial attorney to stand up for my kids but instead I got Evie. It didn't help that my soon to be dishonest ex wife was a matrimonial attorney and had known Evie for quite some time but they were also friends on Facebook. Evie didn't listen to one word my son or I had to say but took everything my bitter wife said as gospel and transferred these slanted views to the judge. My son was so mad that he refused to be interviewed by Evie again. He felt she betrayed him. Great job Evie. Evie even saw my wifes uncontrollable temper in action when she threw a folder at my lawyer in conference. She chose to ignore it. You must feel really proud of yourself Evie!!!!Unprofessional. She even lied to the judge and said she barely knew my horrible wife.

Evie was appointed as my lawyer and got me residential custody, back in 2001. Even when the law guardian asked a six year old if her father drank and drove, being I always have coffee in the car she said yes. Amazing job Evie. By the way all three children are doing very well. The youngest is 23 and the oldest is 27. Time has told the story, and Evie helped the courts do the right thing.

You will likely not have a choice which law guardian is appointed. Know that she has an axe to grind against men and will continually fight for "women" and not the actual child she represents. In my case, even after mom almost killed our child, and then tested positive for illegal drugs... after issuing an apology on the record, she is right back to allowing "mom" more unsupervised visitation. Everyone needs to call attention to the apathy of these court members towards our children and their goal which is to force their values on other people even at the expense of those they represent.

She is as crooked as they come. She had no interest in our daughter whatsoever. She caused conflict where there was none to begin with and billed us for hours not worked. Even the judge said her billing was unreasonable and ruled that we didn't have to pay her thousands of what she billed us for. Avoid this lawyer at all costs.

Zarkadas is clearly part of a system whose main goal is not to protect children but to enr.ich themselves. In our case she did not hesitate at all to act against the law and legal precedent and made an issue out of a father living with a new partner, after 7 years of separation... She has malpractices severely and without being punished.

This woman is a horrible human being! Makes poor determinations for custody then ignores the welfare of the children to cover her extremely bad decisions. She couldn't care less about the children she's supposed to be representing the best interest of. I wouldn't let this woman decide custody of my goldfish. She gave a crackhead residential custody of my 2 daughters and tortured me based on opinion with no proof whatsoever. When she received tons of proof on the wifebeating crackhead she said I was being vindictive. I have played by her rules and done everything I have been told to protect and take care of my children, but she continues to side with the documented lying crackhead.

Evie Zarkadas was an extrely fair advocate for my children. She heard both myself and my husband and the children. She did not over react and take anyone's side without hearing the details of the information provided. There were times when I did not know what to expect but overall she made sure she had my childrens best interest at heart! Thanks Evie

wow its amazing to me that a court would appoint this women to any family, I too went to her office and yes it is not the kind of office you would expect someone that a court appoints to your children, { maybe they get a kick back}. I meet her daughter about 7 years, I spent about 2 hours with her. because evie was away. On my first court date regaurding my children I was confindent. when the judge asked evie for her oppinion. { oh also i was at court 1 hour eary you would think that a law gauderian would like to meet me but she did not } I was shocked she started telling things to the judge things that my exwife acused me of did not mention 1 thing i told her daughter, it was like she didnt even read it. Well needless to say they took my children away from me like I was some kind of white trash. Did not offer me supervised visitation. at the end my exwife had me arrested 13 times each reason being worst then the other and even sometimes for no reason. and still to this day i have no

Evie Zarkadas is one of the poorest excuses for an attorney. Especially for being a parent herself. She read legal documents to my 8 year old son and also told him that I lied about an event that she had no facts of. If she was not appointed by the court I would have walked out of her office, which is located in a house and is a complete pigsty. She is a complete arrogant, nasty "no it all". I would not allow her to represent my goldfish let alone my child.

My name is Johnell Santiago! Evie was my law guardian about 8 years ago or so. She made my brother and I feel as if she had taken control and was willing to help us out. We told her the truth about everything that had happened, and by law those truths that we told her must be kept confidential. Unfortunately for her & my brother and I, she did not help us, she got information from us and either 1)she changed everything up herself or 2) my stepfather Fred Rahaei at the time bribed her to change up the story because she did not speak on my brothers or my behalf she spoke for Fred Rahaei! I do not think any person that has such a power should be allowed to practice such an art if they're going to abuse their power for money. Especially when it comes to children! Evie Zarcadas, even after my two sons (ages about 11 and 13) pour their hearts out in her office, and told her about Mr. Fereydoun (Fred) Rahaei) stepping on my oldest son head with one leg after he had thrown him on the floor and hit his head against it. In the court room she said that my son had blood in the outside of his ear because they were playing football and he fell. My children have always wondered why she did that to them. They have and will be scar for life. That was very unfair and cold. No justice was done for my children and I.

Allowed a Mother who was arrested for endngering the welfare of two little girls and is an alcholic to move and keep a guy who was arrested for Criminal Impersonation of a Police Officer and Aggravated Harassment in the house. Refused to call the childrens Dr and Police Detective who arrested the Mothers boyfriend. Saw no problem with two little girls living in a house with a CONVICTED FELON. Did I mention he made a woman(There were multible complainants) drive to a gas station and leave her panties there so he could **** on them. Yes, he would call woman who were arrested for DWI and offer help with their case for sex. Did I tell you he was found with FAKE POLICE ID when the Detectives grabbed him. The truth is, Zarkadas makes back door deals with the MOMS ATTORNEY and ignors the needs of the kids. She told the Judge that ferensics werent needed and the kids are fine.
