I will preface this review by stating I do not know Ms. Segal personally, this is based on my professional experience with her.
I'm sorry your overworked, stressed and completely unorganized, those are your issues. However, I came to you for help in a very desperate position. You sent me an email of a list of documents you required, every requested document was sent to you within 2 hours on the same day. You have called me names, spoken vulgar, been extremely rude, spoken to me in such a demoralizing manner, like I'm a dog! I knew what kind of person you were the first time we spoke, but I figured your demeanour and aggressiveness would be a plus and help to finalize my case. However, I was wrong, your just an angry person, and your issues and behavior is not something that I or any other person should ever be subject to. You are the most unprofessional professional I have ever met, and the worst part is I don't think you care.

believe me? she is absolutely an idol worth admiring and respecting in the real world. If you are facing family issues, if you want to fight for yourself and your children, then you should set aside your emotions and work with this outstanding lawyer. She will show you what it means to be a true winner.

I had a meeting with marcy on a SUNDAY that she scheduled away from her monday to friday regular schedule to answere questions for her as I am a witness towards a divorce case, I was not sure or did not have much knowledge of my parents horrible relationship, Marcy then told me "you are stupid and useless" I then agreed saying "ok I am stupid can you explain" Marcy then screamed and yelled at the top of her lungs "get out im calling the cops" as I made my way out I told her "you are done we are getting a new lawyer". Marcy then sent an email saying she is keeping the retainer money because I was aggresive towards her and demanded answeres from her and that she felt threatned because she was alone in her office on a sunday her off day that she scheduled away from her normal hours. My mother spent 26k on Marcy and she did not accomplish anything but her rude, arrogant childish attitude, Marcy is a stupid lawyer and highly recommend you stay away from this scam old outdated crazy lady.

Marcy Segal has no ethical standard, is an extremely rude person and a money grabber. She didn't provide any support for the client other than charging high dollars and had been very rude when client's relatives sought to discuss the case status. I will highly recommend NOT to hire this lawyer.

Marcy Segal is the worst lawyer on the planet earth she represented me in a case that I was wrongfully accused. She wanted me to plea guilty also she made me feel guilty and used me being a man of colour as a excuse. And when I told her that I was going to the lawyer society she charged me even more money do not hire her! a light bulb would defend you in court better than Marcy Segal. She's arrogant loud and rude and talks to you like you are her child being disciplined. By far my worst Lawyer experience.

Ms.egal has a wealth of knowledge & makes sage decisions based on points of law & how best to spend time/money for her client. She responds incredibly quickly to any type of question (including evenings on occasion!) & helps allay concerns without ridiculous promises. She is honest and her advice may not always be what you want to hear, but it is truthful. She truly cares about her client's interests and puts them well above anything else. She is fair and tough when warranted, but not overly so. I highly recommend a consultation with her; it is worth the time and she will honestly advise you if she is best suited for your case.

Marcy Segal is a professional with dignity and is extremely sharp. She is straight to the point no messing around which is what I love.anyone that's been treated unfairly should hire her as she is very quick on understanding the case.very very good! In fact she is excellent

Ms. Segal is an institution on her own, When it comes to understanding the clients' needs, the law and traversing through the legal system - Her representation is flawless.
Ms. Segal immersed herself into the details of my case and presented them in a way that changed the trajectory, in our favor.
She delivers at record speed, She is ALWAYS heard and taken seriously. She has a solid reputation with courts, Judges, & Crowns - where it actually matters. What takes other firms days to complete, she will do it in an instant. She responds faster than a Bugatti Vernon at a race - with impeccable accuracy in messages that leaves her mailbox.
I received a white glove service that money can't buy. I respect the dedication Ms. Segal has every morning willing to fight the world on your behalf.

Took a pile of money and accomplished nothing. Very poor excuse for a lawyer.Changed court dates without advising client for her convenience was rude to client and would yell. Does not listen to instruction. Basically a complete waste of time

Marcy Segal is a disgusting PIG ! It's that simple ! She takes advantage of people by stealing all there money when they're in a position of vulnerability ! Please do not retain this pig ! She is a liar a scammer a disgusting animal ! She steals money from people. I can't stand all layered ! They make make me sick to my stomach ! They need to rip people off in order to buy there crack and maintain there billionaire lifestyles ! Please don't commit any crimes and try to avoid false accusations or LAWYERS WILL EAT YOU ALIVE ! They disgust me ! I think that Marcy smokes crack ! I wouldn't doubt it so that's part of why she rips off people. Who knows what else she snorts. Like I said, avoid all crooked lawyers. I contacted Ms. Segal, looking to retain a lawyer under a legal aid certificate. She was more interested in knowing who what other lawyers were interested in taking my case and what I knew about the law, rather than the charges I was facing. It seemed to be me as though she was asking about other lawyers in order to determine how desperate I was to retain her. I think she was inquiring about my legal knowledge in order to determine how much b.s. she could feed me. I was NOT impressed. I CANNOT recommend her.

I hired Marcy Segal about 6 years ago when I was falsely charged by a psycho that I was dating. Her motives were: attention, spite, money and man hater. Anyways, when I went to see Marcy at her office inside the Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill, which she works out of with her husband, attorney Martin Herman, she sat tdown with my mon and I and she was EXTREMELY rude and Arrogant with me. She never let me talk and she listened to my mom only. I was already going through the pain, suffering and humiliation of being falsel accused and Marcy multiplied that pain 10 times. She made me feel like I was guilty and a piece of garbage. I needed a lawyer fast and I had my freedom to travel alone and to drive taken away from me and the court ruling made the bail conditions so that I can only travel with my parents. My parents are very Sick Seniors. Anyways, my false charges were withdrawn 10 months later after several remandings and Marcy Segal gave me a bill for $ 18,000. Avoid Marcy Segal.
