represents my co-op building in forest hills, nothing but a crook. Only interested in collecting fees on behalf of the vindictive and biased co-op board. Buildings would be wise to avoid this law firm.

Do not use this "lawyer" for any reason. He is nothing but a criminal with a license. Arrogance is just the beginning of this unconscionable biped.

this guy is a bully. he sends threatening letters on behalf of parkway village equities corp to any tenant that stands up for themselves and demands that they are kept in the loop as to what work and projects are being done around the co-op. and after he sends these baseless letters he never responds, nor returns calls. he helps jeanette hernandez parkway village manager to steal, bully, and take advantage of it's tenants. and the board member douglas sherman is a bully and just as underhanded as well. he pays his maintenance when he feels like it. he never gets threatening letters and has to pay legal fees, but he will send legal letter and charge you a legal fees plus back maintenance. where in the proprietary lease does it say that the board president is supposed to be given such favors and power? just ask abbey. he help to cover up the bullying and theft that goes on daily at parkway village. if you are not a friend or family of the board members you are considered a 2nd class cit.

Mr. Goldstein is indeed a bully and unprofessional. I don't recommend his services to anyone. He threatens shareholders with his intimidating and unprofessional letters based on lies from coops board members/presidents without checking the facts. I poorely rate him.

Abbey Goldstein behaves like a bully. Our co-op board automatically sends any sort of convflict to Goldstein and he responds to the shareholders with rude and threatening letters. On many occasions he has threatened to "throw out" shareholders. He fails to realize the shareholders pay his retainer and fees. He portrays his roll as attorney as the building manager. According to one year's financial statement for the co-op, he charged the building over $22,000 in legal fees in addition to his yearly retainer. Prior to the closing of the sale of our apartment, there was a dispute between the previous owner and the co-op board. At our closing he invited the previous owner(who had already sold to the co-op) to be there. Due to this, our closing took 3 hours and Goldstein would walk in every so often and make jokes about the conflict between the previous shareholder and the board. Our attorney was irritated by unprofessional behavior. No building should use his services.

Horrible to deal with. Non responsive. Bullies. The para legal runs the show. The attorney is not accessible. Poor communication or no communication. A nightmare.

I am a recent purchaser of a coop and Vivian Chen was the paralegal who prepared the papers. Vivian did not do her diligence and made callous assumptions. When her mistake was pointed out to her, she was arrogant and would not own up to it Her attitude at closing was arrogant. Abbey Goldstein, instead of managing the paralegal, went on to defend her.
